“Rustling Leaves” is a tagger size scrap created by Dani of Darkmoon’s Dream and can be purchased from Lollipops n Gumdrops. You can visit her blog here.
Thank you Dani for a really beautiful autumn kit!

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your embellishments. I used:

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Change the Properties of the scarecrow to Soft Light.

To give the branch the feathered look on the end:
Highlight the merged mask layer.
Use your Magic Wand and click in the upper right corner of your canvas.
Highlight the branch layer.
Tap the delete key.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name:
Color Pallet:
Foreground: Black
Background: Pattern/Paper 1
Stroke: 1
Using trial and error, toy around with the scale of the pattern/Paper 1 to get the burned look at the bottom of your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Resize all layers 80%.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
I’d love to see your results and show it off in my gallery.
