This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.
~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template. Shift + D. Close out the original. Delete the copyright, small heart 1, and small heart 2 layers.

Highlight Dotted Line layer. Copy and paste the darkest paper from the kit as a new layer. Highlight the Dotted Line layer once again. Select All/Float/Defloat. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key. Deselect. Delete the template layer.

Highlight the Large Heart layer. Select All/Float/Defloat. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key. Deselect. Delete the template layer.

Highlight the Rectangles layer. Select All/Float/Defloat. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key. Selections/Modify/Contract by 10. Hit the delete key. You created frames :O) DON’T DESELECT YET. Selections/Modify/Expand by 4. Copy and paste a paper of choice below your new frames. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key. Deselect.

We’re going to put a tube into the left frame first but I thought it was neat to have part of the tube in the large heart also. Use your Magic Wand and click inside the left frame. Selections/Modify/Expand by 4. Copy and paste your tube below the frame. Be sure to get it into the exact position you like. Change the property to Overlay. Now highlight the large heart. Select All/Float/Defloat. Selections/Invert. Highlight your tube layer and then hit the delete key.

For the next 2 frames to each:
Use your Magic Wand and click inside the frame. Copy and paste your tube below the frame. Selections/Modify/Expand by 4. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key. Change the property to Overlay.
Add your 4th tube and place it beside the left side of the frames.
Add your embellishments. I used:
Criss Cross 5: Resize 30%
Dazzling Bow 2: Resize 20% Free rotate 20 degrees.
Rose 2: Resize 50%
Rose 4: Resize 50% and 80%
Candle 2: Resize 30%
Candle 5: Resize 25%
Wirebead Heart 3: Resize 50% Free Rotate Left 20 degrees
Wirebead Heart 4: Resize 50% and 80% Free Rotate right 20 degrees
Butterfly 1: Resize 30% Free Rotate right 15 degrees
Heart Charm 3: Resize 20%

Highlight your white canvas. New Raster Layer. Select All. Copy and paste a dark colored paper Into Selection. Deselect. Apply the mask. Merge Group.

New Raster Layer. Select All. Copy and paste a light colored paper Into Selection. Deselect. Apply the mask again. Merge Group. Lower the opacity just a bit.

Move the dark colored mask out just a bit. Move the light colored mask out and down slightly. Merge visible both mask layers.

Add your coyrights.

Add your name.

I set my color to pattern and used a dark colored paper for the stroke, light colored paper for the fill.
Also gave it a slight inner bevel:
Bevel: 4
Width: 3
Smoothness: 35
Depth: 2
Ambience: -8
Shininess: 10
Color: white
Angle: 315
Intensity: 75
Elevation: 20
OK

If you choose not to animate then save your tag :O)

Merge visible both of your candles. I brought mine to the top - easier for me when it comes time to animate. Duplicate twice for a total of 3 layers. Rename Candle 1, 2, and 3.

Highlight Candle 1. Use your Freehand Selection Tool and make a small tear drop shape above each of the candle wicks. Tip: Let the tear drop outline overlap at least the top quarter of the wick otherwise the flame will be floating in thin air over it…hehehe

EyeCandy 5: Nature - Fire
On the Settings Tab:
Small, Candle
On the Basic Tab:
Fire Direction: 90
Column Length: 20
Flame Width: 83
Expansion: -8
Waver: 0
Turbulence: 25
Flame Intensity: 100
Soft Edges: 20
Start from Bottom checked
Radom Seed: 1344
OK

Highlight Candle 2 layer. Apply the same effect accept hit the random seed button once. Repeat for Candle layer 3.
Deselect.
Close out Candle Layers 2 & 3.

Copy Merged and carry into Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/As New Animation

Go back into PSP. Close out Candle Layer 1. Open up Candle Layer 2. Copy Merge and carry into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Go back into PSP. Close out Candle Layer 2. Open up Candle Layer 3. Copy Merge and carry into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.
Ctl + A to highlight all 3 frames.
Animation/Frame Properties:
Change the number to 20.

View your animation. If you’re happy with it then save.

Scent of Earth Tones

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.
~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template. Shift + D. Close out the original. Delete the following layers: Copyright, Word Art, Staple 1, Staple 2, Add a Flower of Choice, Doodle flower 2, Doodle Flower 1.

Highlight Diamond Line layer. Select All/Float/Defloat. Make a new image 700 x 700 and flood fill with the darkest color you have in your tube. Copy. Make your working canvas active. Copy and paste your dark color as a new image. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key. Delete the template layer.

Highlight Stitches layer. Repeat the above step using your dark color again.

Ok, we’ve got those 2 layers out of the way. Go ahead and delete the dark colored canvas you just made. We won’t need that any more.

Highlight Ellipse layer. Select All/Float/Defloat. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Selection/Invert. Hit the delete key. Deselect. Delete the template layer.

Highlight the Scalloped Shape layer and repeat the above step accept use a different paper.

Highlight Circle layer. Select All/Float/Defloat. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Selection/Invert. Hit the delete key. Delete the template layer.
Selections/Invert again. New Raster Layer.
Effects/3D Effects/Cutout
Vertical and Horizontal: 10
Opacity and Blur: 25
Color: Black
OK

Repeat the above step using a new Rater Layer and change the Vertical and Horizontal numbers to -10.

Highlight Left Frame Layer. Select All/Float/Defloat. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key. Deselect. Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Right Frame layer.

Highlight Left Frame back. Select All/Float/Defloat. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key. Delete the template layer. Copy and paste a tube of choice below the frame layer. Hit the delete key after moving it into position. Deselect.

Repeat the above step with the Right Frame back.

Copy and paste Bead 2 as a new layer. Free Rotate left 15 degrees. Resize 50%. Position it at the top of the Left Frame. Erase any overhang. Duplicate. Move to the lower part of the frame.
Duplicate. Free Rotate 90 degrees left. Move to the left side of the frame. Duplicate. Move to the right side of the frame. Merge visible all 4 layers of beads. Duplicate/Mirror. Position over the Right Frame.

Add you embellishments. I used:
Flower & Flower 4: Resize 40%
Flower & Leafs 2: Resize 85%
Feathers 1 & 2: Resize 40%
Flower Stem 5: Resize 80%
Flower Stem 3: Resize 70%
Butterfly 4: Resize 40%
Dragonfly: Resize 40%

If you didn’t use the same tubes as I did and you can see the staples then it’s up to you if you choose to keep them there or remove them and add an embellishment of a flower(s) from the kit :O)

Close out the white background and Merge Visible all the layers. Re-open your white canvas. Duplicate the merged layer.
Highlight the original.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.

Resize all layers 85%.

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template. Shift + D. Close out the original. New Raster layer. Send to bottom. Flood fill white.

Highlight Black Circle layer. Select All/Float/Defloat. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete button. Delete the template layer.

Highlight Rectangle layer. Select All/Float/Defloat. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete button. Delete the template layer. Deselect. Rename layer Rectangle Paper.

Copy and paste Birdhouse 1 as a new layer. Free Rotate left 20 degrees. Resize 30%. Adjust/Sharpeness/Sharpen. Move it into position over the top strip of Rectangle Paper and over to the left side. Duplicate 3 times and position them across the strip beside each other. Merge down 3 times. You should now have one full strip of the Birdhouse. Highlight the Rectangle Paper. Select All/Float/Defloat. Selections/Inverty. Highlight the Birdhouse strip. Hit the delete key. Duplicate and move the duplicated strip to cover the lower Rectangle paper. Merge visible both birdhouse strips and the rectangle papers strip.

Select All/Float/Defloat. New Raster layer. Flood fill black. Selections/Modify/Contract by 3. Hit the delete button. You should now have a black frame around your rectangle layers.

New Raster layer.
Effect/3D Effect/Cutout
Horizontal & Vertical: 10
Opacity and Blur: 25
Shadow Color: Black
OK

Repeat the above step accept change the horizontal and vertical numbers to -10.

Highlight Inner Frame layer. Select All/Float/Defloat. Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete button. Deselect. Delete the template layer.

Copy and paste just above the paper layer Bear 2 and 3, and Birdhouse behind the bears. The images will be sticking out from behind the outter frame…that’s ok because we’ll take care of that in a second. For now, position the images you just pasted exactly where you want them.

Highlight the Outter Frame layer. Use your Magic Wand and click inside of it. Selections/Modify/Expand by 6. Selections/Invert. Highlight each of your bear layers and the birdhouse layer and hit the delete key on each layer.

Deselect. Highlight the Outter Frame layer. Select All/Float/Defloat. New Raster layer. Flood fill black. Select none. Delete the template layer.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Bow 1: Resize 30%
Flower 1: Resize 30%
Blank Sign 3: Resize 35%
Centerpede: Resize 25%
Butterfly 1: Resize 25% and 70%
Sunflower Patch 2: Resize 50%
Bees 1

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.

Happiness is a Little Girl's World

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.
~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open a 700 X 700 blank canvas. Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Bling 1 as a new layer. Resize 20%. Use your Magic Wand and click inside. Selections/Modify/Expand by 6. New Raster layer below Bling 1 layer. Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection. Copy and paste Doll 1 as a new layer above the paper layer. Resize 25%. Selections/Invert. Move the doll into position. Hit the delete button. Deselect. Close out your white canvas and merge visible.

Copy and paste Bling 2 as a new layer and repeat the above steps using a different paper and different doll.

Move both of your merged layers into position. Copy and paste the last doll from the kit that you haven’t used in either of the Bling’s yet. Resize 35%. Move into position.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Present: Resize 20% and 30%
Charming Couple 2 & 3: Resize 15% and 70%
Pink and Purple Oval Balloon: Resize 20%
Balloon String 6: Resize 20% and 60%
Balloon String 3: Resize 20% and 60%
Butterfly 1: Resize 15% and 80%
Butterfly 2: Resize 15% and 70%
Lollipop 1: Resize 15% and 40%
Star 3: Resize 20%
Star 1: Resize 15%
Star 2: Resize 10%
Flowers 1, 2, and 3: Resize 15% and 50%

Highlight your white canvas. New Raster layer. Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection. Deselect. Apply the mask. Merge Group. Resize 105%.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
I gave mine a slight inner bevel:
Bevel: 2
Width: 20
Smoothness: 17
Depth: 3
Ambience: 0
Shininess: 14
Color: White
Angle: 248
Intensity: 28
Elevation: 63
OK

I also decorated the name by Resizing a butterfly and positioning it one the first letter of my name.
