Supplies Needed

 

3 tubes of choice – I used the beautiful artwork of Sandi Baker which can be purchased from Digital Art Heaven here

Font of choice – I used Badoga here

Rachel Designs Masks 822 & 833 here

My template 197
here

Plugs Ins used:
Brush strokes – Crosshatch

“Blessed” is a PTU tagger size scrap kit created by Moonshine Dezinez and can be purchased from Pics for Design here

 This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~ 

Open up the template.
Shift + D
Close out the original.
Delete the credit layer.
Highlight the background layer.
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 700
Ok
Flood fill the background layer #ffffff.

Highlight Template Layer 1.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster Layer.
Copy and Paste Paper 12 Into Selection.
Apply Brush Strokes – Crosshatch:
Stroke Length: 9
Sharpness: 6
Strength: 2
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer. 

Repeat the above steps with
Template Layer 2.

Highlight Template Layer 3.
Copy and Paste Element 10 as a new layer just over the template layer.
Resize 45%
Move into position over the template – see my tag for reference.
Duplicate the element.
Mirror it and move into position over the other side of the template.
Highlight the Left frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
Copy and paste Paper 7 as a new layer below the frame and move into a position you like.
Right click on the paper in your layers pallet and choose “Promote Section to Layer”.
Deselect.
In your layers pallet move the original paper below the right frame.
Repeat the above step.
Deselect.
Delete the original paper layer.
Copy and paste Element 64 as a new layer just below the right frame.
Resize the element 45%
Move into a position you like.
Highlight the frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
Highlight the element layer and right click on it in your layers pallet.
Choose “Promote Section to layer” from the submenu
Deselect.
Move the original element just below the right frame in your layers pallet.
Repeat the above step.
Deselect.
Delete Template Layer 3.

Highlight Template Layer 4.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster Layer.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:


Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above steps with Template Layers 5 and 6.

Highlight Template Layer 7.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster Layer.
Copy and paste Paper 6 Into Selection.
Apply Brush strokes – Crosshatch:
Use Same Settings.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Template Layer 10.

Highlight Template Layer 11.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster Layer.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Deselect for now.
Copy and paste you tube as a new layer – if you’re using the same tube as I did, Resize 40%
Move into a position you like – see my tag for reference.
Give the tube a drop shadow.
Highlight the Template layer and click on it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube layer in your layers pallet.  Right click on it and choose “Promote Section to layer” from the submenu.
Delete the original tube layer.
Do Not Deselect.
Just below the tube layer, paste your tube again and change the Blend Mode to Soft Light.
Move into a position you like. 
Right click on it in your layers pallet and choose “Promote Section to layer” from the submenu.
Delete the original tube layer.
Change the Blend Mode of the promoted tube layer to Soft Light.
Highlight the paper layer in your layers pallet.
You should still be Selected (marching ants showing the shape of the template), if not then highlight the template layer and click on it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the paper layer.
Selections/Modify/Select Selections Borders:
Both Sides and Anti Alias checked
Border Width: 9
OK
Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel:
Match your settings to mine:

Give that same bevel to both tube layers.
DO NOT DESELECT.
Highlight the paper layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel again using these settings:

Give that same bevel to both tube layers.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat all the steps above with Template Layers 8 and 9 using different tubes except use the papers as follow:
Template Layer 9: Paper 7 – Mirror it before copying it.
Template Layer 8: Use Paper 9.

 Copy and paste Element 24 as a new layer.
Resize 45%
Duplicate 3x’s for a total of 4.
Move them into position behind the paper layer of the top right tube – see my tag for reference.
Merge together the 4 elements.
Duplicate and Resize 90%
Move into position behind the paper of the Left tube.
Duplicate the merged element and Resize 85%.
Move into position behind the last paper of the last tube. 

Open up Paper 5.
Shift + D and close out the original.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:
Radius: 20%
OK
Copy.

Make your working canvas active.
Highlight Template Layer 12.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster Layer.
Paste the Paper Into Selection.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Random and Monochrome checked
Noise 64%
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Template Layer 13. 

Add your elements.  I used:
El 66:  Resize 35%
El 59:  Resize 55%/Mirror
El 11:  Resize 20%
El 45:  Resize 15%/Duplicate/Flip
El 4:  Resize 50%
El 4 (again):  Resize 40%
El 20:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 75%/Free Rotate Right 20
El: 82:  Resize 15%/Duplicate
El 83:  Resize 50%
El 90:  Resize 10%/Duplicate/Flip/Resize 70%

Highlight your white Canvas.
Select All.
New Raster Layer.
Copy and paste Paper 11 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply mask 833.
Resize 110%
Merge Group. 

New Raster Layer just above the mask layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 11 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply mask 822.
Resize 110%
Merge Group.
Change the Blend Mode to Difference. 

Add your copyrights.

 Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground and Background: #1e1e23
Stroke: 1
Type your name.
 Convert to Raster Layer.
Duplicate

In your color pallet change the foreground color to #d2d0e1
Give both name layers a slight Inner Bevel:

Move the lighter name below the darker name in your layers pallet and move the lighter name layer slightly to the right and up.
Merge the darker name layer down to the lighter name layer.
