Happy Birthday

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 X 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.
Close off your foreground pallet.
Change your background pallet color to #cb4141.
Using your Ellipse tool make a circle in the center of your canvas - approximately 500 X 500.
Objects/Align/Center of Canvas
Give it a slight inner bevel:
Bevel: 2
Width: 1
Smoothness: 15
Depth: 2
Ambience: -2
Shininess: 0
Color: white
Angel: 0
Intensity: 36
Elevation: 42
OK
DO NOT DESELECT YET
Selections/Modify/Contract by 15
New Raster Layer
Flood fill with #f0ce73
DO NOT DESELECT YET.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Resize to make it larger. I had to resize mine 200%/
Selections/Invert
Hit the delete key.
Change the Properties to Soft Light.
DO NOT DESELECT YET.

New Raster Layer.
Selections/Invert
Effects/3D Effects/Cutout
Vertical & Horizontal: 10
Opacity & Blur: 25.00
Shadow color: black
OK

Repeat the entire step above accept no need to invert again.
NOW you can deselect.

Now we’re going to write Happy Birthday all the way around the circle.
Choose black for your foreground color in your color pallet. Stroke Width set at 2. Close out the background.
Using your Ellipse Tool, make a circle bigger than the circle on your canvas.
Don’t worry if it’s much too big…you can always resize and make it smallerJ
Objects/Align/Center in Canvas.
Close out your foreground. Open up your background and change to color #766fcf. Set your font to one of your liking.
Click on your text tool and move your cursor over the top part of the circle you just drew. When you see a Rocking A, click the mouse. A text box will appear.
Type Happy Birthday.
Highlight it, copy.
Ctl +V as many times as it takes until you see the words written all the way around the circle.

In your layers pallet, click on the + sign next to Happy Birthday.
Click on the eye on the New Ellipse layer.
Right click on the Vector Layer.
Convert to Raster layer.

Add your embellishments. I used:
(the amount that I resized these embellishments were according to the size of the circle I made. Adjust your accordingly)
Ribbon Bow 3: Resize 48%
Bow 1: Resize
Bow 3: Resize 50%
Journal 3: Resize 60%
Cherry Blossom 1: Resize 40%
Ribbons 4, 5 & 6: Resize 60% and smaller
Sticker 1: Resize 40%. Free rotate left 10 degrees

Highlight your white canvas.
Select All
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
I then resized my mask by 90%.
If you’re going to do this, again, resize accordingly.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.

Resize all layers 85%.

A Day at the Park

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

Open up the template. Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Delete the credit layer.
New Raster Layer. Send to bottom
Image/Canvas Size
700 X 700
Flood fill white.

Highlight the Circle Layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Rater layer.
Copy a paper of choice and paste Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step for all other layers.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Elem 19: Resize 70%
Elem 25: Resize 30%
Elem 5: Resize 25%, Free rotate right 25 degrees
Elem 31 & 33: Resize 20%
Elem 15: Resize 25%. Duplicate Resize 80%
I gave the frogs a slight inner bevel:
Bevel: 2
Width: 1
Smoothness: 15
Depth: 2
Ambience: -2
Shininess: 0
Color: white
Angel: 0
Intensity: 36
Elevation: 42
OK

Copy and paste your tube.

Crop your image but real close to your elements.

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice or flood fill with a color of choice.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Give it the same inner bevel.

Resize all layers 85%.

Rub a Dub Dub

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template. Shift +D. Close out the original.
Delete the copyright layer.
Click on the background layer.
Image/Canvas size
700 X 700 pixels.
OK
Flood Fill white.

Highlight Dotted Line layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer.
Selections/Invert
Hit the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step for all the layers.

Copy and paste Frame 1 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Move into position over the large circle.

Copy and paste Frame 2 as a new layer.
Resize 30%.
Move into position over the smaller circle.

To each of the frames:
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise
Uniform and Monochrome checked
Noise: 15%
OK

Copy and paste the Bath tub as a new layer.
Resize 35%
Colorize if you like.

Copy and paste your tube and move into position
.
Copy and paste Mirror 2 as a new layer.
Resize 25% and 85%
Move into position.
Use your Free Hand Selection Tool and outline the mirror just inside the frame.
Copy and paste your tube again positioning it over the mirror.
Selections/Modify/Feather
Number of Pixels: 15
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key until you have the feathered look you want.
Deselect.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Butterfly 1 & 2: Resize 25% and 40%
Bubbles: 25% and 50%
Pink Bubbles: Resize 25% and 85%
Brush: Resize 25% and 60%
Boat: Resize 25%
Duckie: Resize 25% and 70%

Now we’re going to type the words Rub a dub dub.
In your color pallet make your foreground black. Close out your backbround.
Using your Elipse tool make a huge circle on your canvas.
Objects/Align/Center in Canvas
You can always click on your Pick Tool and make the circle wider if you need to so that the words won't be on such a sharp curve.
Change the colors in your color pallet to colors that will match your tag/tube. Stroke set at 2.
Move your cursor over the circle until you see a Rocking A.
Click our mouse. A text box will appear.
Type the words Rub a dub dub (or whatever you like)
Click on the + next to Vector Circle.
Close out the New Ellipse layer.
Right click on the Vector 1 layer.
Convert to Raster layer.
Duplicate.
On the duplicate layer:
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian blur
Radius 3.00
OK

On the original name layer apply the same Noise as you used on the frames.

Type your name.
Duplicate and repeat the above steps.

Add your cpoyrights.

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Select none.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Crop your image.

Resize all layers 85%.
