Peace In Our Reflections

Supplies

1 tube of choice – I used the wonderful artwork of Rachel Anderson which can be purchased from CDO.  You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Wretched here

Weescotlass Mask 208 here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~~ Lets get started ~~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Frame as a new layer.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Deselect for now.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Position it in front of the left side of the frame – see my tag for reference.
Duplicate/Mirror
Move below the frame and into position – see my tag for reference.
Highlight the paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube layer just above the paper.
Tap the delete key.
Change the Properties to Luminance (Legacy)
Copy and paste ladder as a new layer just above the paper layer.
Resize 70%
Move into position.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste Fog as a new layer.
Move into position – see my tag for reference: (without looking at the name of the element I thought it was water so I used it as a water puddle)
In your layers pallet be sure it’s below the tube layer that’s positioned in front of the frame.
Copy and paste Basket as a new layer.
Resize 40%
Mirror
Move into position - see my tag for reference.

Duplicate the tube layer that’s positioned in front of the frame.
Flip.
Move below the original tube layer and position it so that it looks like the reflection in the water.  
Change the Properties to Multiply.
Lower the Opacity to about 87.

Repeat the above step with the Basket.
Merge visible the flipped tube and basket layers.

Highlight the fog (water) layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Selections/Invert
Highlight the merged layer.
Tap the delete key.
Selections/Modify/Inside Outside Feather:
Both checked
Feather amount: 30
OK
Deselect.

Add your elements.  I used:
Bow:  Resize 30%
Butterflies(2):  Resize 60%
Hanger(2):  Resize 50%
Lovely Lilac:  Resize 60%
Tree:  Resize 90%/Mirror/Erase the base if you can see it
Plant(2):  Resize 90%
Bird:  Resize 15%
Plant 3:  Position behind the frame/erase the bottom of the stem. 
Plant 3 again:  Resize 70%/position at right side of the frame
Sparkles 2:  Resize 40%

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 105%
Merge Group.

Add your name.
Foreground: #000000
Background:  Pattern/I sectioned off the dress of my tube.
Stroke width: 1.0
Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Resize all layers 80%

Funky Fever

Supplies

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~~ Lets get started ~~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste String Frame 1 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Click inside of the frame and all the gaps around with your Magic Wand.
 Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.
Deselect.
TIP:
If you see any white gaps that should’ve been filled with the paper, use your Freehand Selection Tool and circle around the areas.
Be sure your paper layer is highlighted.
Paste the paper Into Selection.
Deselect.

Merge Visible the frame and paper layer.

New Raster layer.
Make your Selection Tool active set on Rectangle.
Create a rectangle approximately 160 x 225 pixels.
Copy and paste Paper 15 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Duplicate 2 times for a total of 3 rectangles.

Move the merged layer and all 3 black rectangles into position – see my tag for reference.

To each black rectangle:
Highlight the rectangle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Selections/Modify/Contract by 7
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 13 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer over the middle orange rectangle.
Move into a position you like that looks good over the middle and right orange rectangles.
Change the Properties to Soft Light.
Duplicate/Move above the right rectangle in your layers pallet.

Highlight the right orange rectangle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube above it and tap the delete key.

Highlight the middle orange rectangle layer.
Repeat the above step.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Move into position in front of the Left orange rectangle layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
Wrap 3:  Resize 65%
Wrought Iron Doodle 1:  Resize 80%
Bottles 1:  Resize 80%
Bloom 1:  Duplicate 3 times for a total of 4. Position so that just the tips are showing from behind the wire frame.
Funky Flower 2:  Resize 10%/ Duplicate as many times as you like/Resize as you like.
Paper Flower 2:  Resize 10%/Duplicate as many times as you like.

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste the 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your name.
Foreground: #000000
Background: #d62a09
Stroke: 1.5
Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Resize all layers 80%

A Special Kind of Love

~~ Lets get started ~~

Open up a 600 x 600 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

New Raster layer.
Make your Selection Tool active set on Rectangle.
Create a rectangle approximately 325 x 400 pixels.
Copy and paste Paper 18 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow:
Width: 3
Opacity: 100%
Opacity Drop Off:  Fat
Color: #ffffff
OK
Move a little to the left on your canvas.

Color Pallet:
Foreground: #fd9ba8
Background:  #fff0f1
Set on Gradient:
Style: Sunburst
Repeats: 0
Invert checked

Copy and paste Frame 4 as a new layer.
Resize 65%
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand – be sure to click inside the gaps of the bow.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Flood fill with the gradient.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer just below the frame.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Lower the Opacity to about 30.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Position in front of the frame.

Add your elements.  I used:
Flower 1:  Resize 25%/Free rotate Left 8 degrees/Duplicate/Mirror
Butterfly 1:  Resize 25%
Ivy 1:  Resize 90%/Duplicate/Mirror
Hearts 7:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Mirror
Sparkles 2

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 110%
Merge Group.

Add your credits.

Add your name.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow:
Width: 3
Opacity: 100%
Opacity Drop off:  Fat
Color:  white.
OK

Resize all layers 80%.

It's Always Been You

Supplies

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~~ Lets get started ~~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white

Copy and paste 17 as a new layer.
Apply Xenofex 2 – Burnt Edges:

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Position at the right side of the frame.
Duplicate/Mirror/Give it a drop shadow
Position the duplicate tube layer over the purple papers on the Left side of the frame – see my tag for reference.
Use your Freehand Selection Tool and trace around the purple papers:

Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Selections/Modify/Inside Outside Feather:
Both checked
Feather amount: 25
Tap the delete key until you have the feathered effect you like.
Deselect.
Change the Properties to Luminance (Legacy)

Lower the Opacity of the tube so that you can see the ribbon through it.
Use your Eraser Tool and carefully erase the tube that overlaps the ribbon.
Once you've done that turn the Opacity back up to 100%.

Add your elements.  I used:
30
1
6:  Resize 40%
16
26:  Use your Target Tool to change to a color of your choice/Resize 25% and 70%/Free rotate Left 25 degrees/Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 70%

Crop your Image.

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 6 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 120%
Merge Group.

Add your credits.

Add your name.

Resize all layers 80%
