A Raggedy Friendship

Font of choice - I used Arctic 2 here
Gems mask 116 here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 X 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Frame 5 as a new layer.
Resize 30%
Use your Magic Wand and click inside of it.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.

Copy and paste Raggedy 1 as a new layer above the frame.
Resize 25% and 80%
Copy and paste Raggedy 3 as a new layer frame.
Resize 25% and 80%
Move the Raggedies where you’d like them to be - see my tag for reference.
Once you have them where you want them duplicate each of them.
Move the duplicate layers below the frame.
Highlight your frame and click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key on each duplicated layer.
Deselect.

Highlight one of the Raggedies above the frame.
Use your Eraser Tool and erase whatever you don’t want that overhangs the frame.
Highlight the other raggedy and do the same.

Copy and paste Ribbon 1 as a new layer.
Copy and paste Ribbon 2 as a new layer.
Move each to the left of your circle - see mine for reference.
Use your Selection Tool and select a portion of the ribbons:


Selections/Invert
Highlight each ribbon layer and tap the delete key.
Selections/Modify/Feather
Number of Pixels:
43
OK
Again, highlight each ribbon layer and tap the delete key about 5 times.
Deselect.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Flowers 1 & 4: Resize 25% and 35%
Pinwheel 1: Resize 25% Free rotate Right 20 degrees
Pinwheel 2: Resize 25% and 80%
Heart Bow 2: Resize 25%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the Mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Give it a slight inner bevel:



Resize all layers 80%.
