This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.
~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~
Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Resize all layers 80%
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 600
Open up the background layer and flood fill white.
Delete the following layers:
Top 10 layers, Pixels Words, and Linear and Sparkle Effect.
Highlight Circle 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Easter Landscape Into Selection.
Copy and paste Easter Boy In Tulips as a new layer.
Resize 25%
Move into position – see my tag for reference.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Highlight Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Eggs Background - Light Into Selection.
Duplicate
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian blur:
Radius: 10
OK
Effects/Text Effect/Weave:
Gap Size: 1
Width: 20
Opacity: 46
Weave Color and Gap Color: #000000
Fill Gaps: checked
OK
Deselect.
Adjust/Brightness Contrast:
Brightness: 15
Contrast: 11
OK
Highlight Left Rectangle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste the same paper Into Selection.
Duplicate
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian blur:
Use Same settings
Deselect.
Highlight Right Rectangle.
Repeat the above step.
Highlight Thin Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Ribbon Background Pink Tint Into Selection.
Deselect.
Add your elements. I used:
Easter Basket: Resize
60%/Mirror/I’ll explain how to get the eggs in there in just a bit.
Easter Bunny Running Away Tube:
Resize 85%
Easter Boy and girl: Resize 25%
Lila Sprig 3: Resize
50%/Duplicate/Mirror
Ribbon 2 Blue: Resize 40%
Easter Basket Ribbon 1 – Purple:
Resize 45%
Easter Basket Ribbon 1 – Blue:
Resize 30%
Easter Chick 1 and 2: Resize
25%/Duplicate
Choose 2 eggs of your choice:
Resize 25%/Free rotate one of them Right 40 degrees, and the other Left
80 degrees.
To add the eggs to the basket:
Choose which eggs you want:
Resize each 25%
Move them into position as if they’re sitting inside the basket. Use your Pick Tool to turn them this way and
that.
Merge Visible the eggs.
Lower the Opacity until you can see the basket through them.
Use your Free Hand Selection Tool and trace along the basket and handle.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Open the Opacity of the eggs back up to 100%
Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Eggs Background Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 110%
Merge Group.
Add your credits.
Add your name.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow:
Width: 3
Opacity: 100%
Opacity Drop Off: Fat
Color: #ffffff
OK
Resize all layers 80%
