Broken Hearted



Supplies

1 tube of choice - I used the artwork of Zindy S.D. Nielsen which can be purchased from her store here. You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Many Weatz here

Amy & Leah’s Mask 2 here

“Broken” is a tagger size scrap kit created by Laura of Laura’s Designz and can be purchased from Twilight Scraps. You can visit her blog here.

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste 15 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Duplicate
Move both frames into position - see my tag for reference.
Use your Magic Wand and click inside the top frame.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 2.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Repeat the above step with the bottom frame.

If you’re using the same tube as I did, copy and paste it as a new layer in front of the top frame.
If you’re using a different tube:
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer below the frame.
Highlight the paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Duplicate the tube layer/Move beneath the bottom frame.
Highlight the paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Change the Properties to Hard Light.
Lower the Opacity to about 38.

Add your embellishments. I used:
14: Resize 40%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Flip
Duplicate both flower layers.
67: Resize 45%
45: Resize 30%/Flip/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Mirror
6: Resize 30%/Mrror
16: Resize 70%

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: Gradient/Metal Steal
Angle: 66
Repeat 2
Invert checked
Background: #000000
Type out your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:


Resize all layers 80%.
