“Indian Summer” is a PTU tagger size scrap kit created by Brenda of Cuddlebeez Scraps and can be purchased at Butterfly Blush Designs.
Thank you Brenda for a very festive kit that definitely gave the impression of an Indian Summer.
This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.
~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~
Open up a 700 X 700 transparent image.
Flood fill white.
Copy and paste Frame 2 as a new layer.
Use your Magic Wand and click inside of it.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.
New Raster Layer below the frame.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube above the paper.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Close out your white canvas.
Merge visible.
Reopen your white canvas.
Copy and paste Ribbon 3 as a new layer.
Resize 40%
Line it up at the upper left corner along the inside portion of the frame.
Duplicate. Slide it across to create a full ribbon across from corner to corner.
Merge Down.
Duplicate/Flip.
Duplicate/Free rotate 90 degrees.
Duplicate/Mirror.
Merge visible these 4 ribbon layers.
Copy and paste Bead Strand as a new layer.
Resize 50%
Duplicate/Flip
Duplicate/Free rotate 90 degrees
Duplicate/Mirror.
Merge visible these 4 layers of beads.
Close out your white canvas again.
Merge visible.
Reopen your white canvas.
Add your embellishments. I used:
Leaf 1 & 2 -
Resize to your liking, duplicating as many times as you like.
Arrange them near the bottom left of the frame, and position a few at the top right corner as well.
Bow 1: Resize 60%
Bicycle: Resize 60%
Butterfly 1: Resize 60%
Butterfly 2: Resize 70%
Fern
Vine 1
Ribbon 1: Resize 50%
Diamond Trail: Resize 60%
Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster Layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Resize 120%
Add your copyrights.
Add your name.
Resize all layers 85%.
