Supplies Needed

1 tube of choice – I used the beautiful artwork of Katerina Koukiotis which can be purchased from Digital Art Heaven.

“Northern Exposure” is a free to use scrap kit by me, Bev of HorsePlay’s Pasture Designs and can be found here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste El 57 as a new layer.
Resize 75%
OK

Copy and paste Paper 8 as a new layer just above your white background layer.
Resize 45%
Highlight the element layer and click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Highlight the paper layer.
Tap the Delete key.
Deselect for now.
Delete the original paper layer.
Make your Freehand Selection Tool active.
Highlight the paper layer.
Carefully section out the bits of paper that overhang the bauble element.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer just above the paper layer.
Resize and move into position as you like.  If you’re using the same tube I did, resize 45%
OK.
Give the tube a drop shadow.
Make your Magic Wand active.
Highlight the bauble element.
Click anywhere outside of the element with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Highlight the tube layer.
Make your Eraser Tool active and erase any part of the tube that overhangs the bauble element.  If there are little bits (like what happened with the paper layer) that overhang the element then use your Freehand Selection Tool to section out and delete them.
Deselect.

New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

 Add your copyrights.

 Add your name.
Color Pallet:

Set the stroke to 1.
Type your name.
 Convert to Raster Layer.
