This tutorial was written
assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.
~♥~ Let’s
get started ~♥~
Open up the template.
Shift + D
Close out the original.
Delete the credit layer.
Copy and paste El 49 as a
new layer.
Resize 40%
Move into position over template
Layer 1.
Duplicate the element layer.
Duplicate the element layer.
Move into position over
template Layer 2.
Delete templates Layer 1 & Layer 2.
Delete templates Layer 1 & Layer 2.
Copy and paste El 8 as a
new layer over template Layer 4.
Resize 35% and 95% and
move into position over the template.
Paste the element (again)
this time over Layer 6.
Resize 30% and move into position
over the template.
Delete template Layers 3, 4, 5, and 6.
To each of the frames:
To each of the frames:
Use your Magic Wand and
click inside of the frame.
Selections/Modify/Expand
by 4.
Copy and paste Paper 12
as a new layer below the frame.
Highlight the paper in
your layers pallet and right click your mouse.
Choose “Promote Section
to Layer”.
Apply Richard Rosenman –
Scan Lines:
Match your settings to
mine and change the color to #f4da8a:
Highlight Layer 7.
Click on it with your
Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into
Selection.
Click the lock icon at
the top of your layers pallet (to lock the layer).
Adjust/Blur/Radial Blur:
Match your settings to
mine:
Click the lock icon at
the top of your layers pallet (to unlock the layer).
Delete the template layer.
Delete the template layer.
Highlight Layer 8.
Click on it with your
Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 15 Into
Selection.
Duplicate and change the
Properties to Burn.
Duplicate.
Deselect.
Delete the template
layer.
Highlight Layer 11.
Merge Down.
Merge Down again.
Layers 9, 10, and 11 should now all be on the
same layer.
Use your Magic Wand and
click on each rectangle.
Copy and paste paper 2 as
a new layer over the merged template layer.
Resize the paper 60%.
Right click on it in your
layers pallet and choose “Promote Section to layer”.
Delete the original paper
layer.
Copy and paste El 74 as a
new layer.
Duplicate.
Move both element layers
into position so that it looks like the sandy ocean bottom.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Now you can add elements
to make a water scene. I used:
45: Resize 10%
46: Resize 15%/Duplicate
66: Resize 12%
52: Resize 10%/Duplicate
38: Resize 10%
23, 24, & 25: Resize 10%/Duplicate as many times as you
like, Mirror as you like, and even lower the Opacity on some.
Highlight Layer 12.
Click on each of the
lines with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 13
Into Selection.
Click the lock at the top
of the layers pallet.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian
Blur:
Radius: 4
OK
Deselect.
Click the lock at the top
of the layers pallet.
Give it a slight Inner
Bevel:
Delete the template
layer.
Copy and paste El 26 as a
new layer.
Resize 15%
Duplicate
Move each of the elements
into position over template Layer 14 &
Layer 15.
Delete both template
layers.
Copy and paste El 28.
Resize 25%
Duplicate/Mirror
Move both elements into
position over template Layer 13 &
Layer 16.
Delete both template layers.
Delete both template layers.
Copy and paste your tube
as a new layer.
Add your elements. I used:
52: Resize 30%/Duplicate/Mirror
37: Resize 35%/Free Rotate Right 10 Degrees
76: Resize 30%/Free Rotate Right 5 degrees/Duplicate
Close out the background
layer.
Merge Visible.
Resize 90%
Reopen the white
background.
Click on it with your
Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 6 Into
Selection.
Deselect.
Adjust/Blur/Radial Blur:
Use Same settings.
Apply the mask.
Resize 105%
Merge Group.
Add the following
elements:
50: Resize 45%/Duplicate 3x’s and move all into
position (see my tag for reference)
47: Resize 15%
69 & yo: Resize 30%/Free rotate one of them Left 7 degrees. Duplicate both bows and resize 70%
11: Resize 40%/Duplicate
Add your copyrights.
Add your name –
Make your Pen Tool active,
Mode set on “Draw Lines and Polylines”.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #000000
Null
Stroke width: 1
Trace along the bottom
wave line clicking the mouse as you go
Make your Text Tool
active.
Change the color pallet:
Foreground: #b72f2f
Background: #c3551d
Move your mouse along the
center area of the line until you see a Rocking A, then click the mouse.
Type your name.
Click on the arrow next
to your name in the layers pallet to expand the layer.
Click on the eye of the
New Path layer. The black line should
disappear on your tag.
Right Click on the Vector 1 layer and choose Convert to Layer.
Right Click on the Vector 1 layer and choose Convert to Layer.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow

Opacity: 100
Color: #f7e09b
Click the Large check
icon to apply.
