Supplies Needed
1 tube of choice – I used the beautiful artwork of Katerina Koukiotis which can
be purchased from Digital Art Heaven.
Font of choice – I used Love Conchetta here
Gem mask 226 here
Rachel Designs template 106 here
Plug Ins used:
Brush Strokes – Sprayed Strokes
“Believe” is a Tagger Size scrap kit created
by me, Bev of HorsePlay’s Pasture Designs and can be downloaded from my
designing blog here.
Scroll down until you see the preview and then click on it.
This tutorial was written assuming you have a
working knowledge of PSP.
~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~
Open the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Image/Resize
By Pixels checked
Lock aspect ratio box checked
Resize all layers checked
Width & Height: 700 x 700 pixels
OK
Highlight the white background layer.
Image/Canvas Size:
800 x 800 pixels
Under Placement make sure the center block is
checked
OK
Highlight 1.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and past Paper 9 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Adjust/Add Remove noise/Add Noise:
Gaussian and Monochrome checked
Noise: 20%
OK
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:
Delete the template layer.
Highlight 2.
Repeat the above steps
Delete Template 3 layer.
Highlight 4.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 15 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Give the paper the same slight inner bevel.
Delete the template layer.
Highlight 5.
Repeat the above steps.
Highlight 6.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply Brush Strokes – Sprayed Strokes:
Stroke Length: 12
Spray Radius: 7
Stroke Direction: Right Diag
OK
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.
Delete the template layer.
Highlight 7.
Repeat the above steps.
Highlight 8.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster Layer.
Copy and paste Paper 12 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply Brush Strokes – Sprayed Strokes:
Use Same Settings.
Apply same Inner Bevel.
Delete template layer.
Highlight 9.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Open up Paper 6.
Rotate right – the stripes should now be going
horizontal.
Copy and close the paper out.
Make your working canvas active.
Paste Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply Brush Strokes – Sprayed Strokes:
Use same settings.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.
Delete the template layer.
Highlight 10.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Paste Into Selection (the paper should still
be in the program’s memory)
Image/Flip/Flip Vertical.
Deselect.
Apply the same sprayed strokes and inner
bevel.
Delete the template layer.
Highlight 11.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Click the Lock Icon at the top of your layers
pallet to lock the layer.
Adjust/Blur/Radial Blur:
Match your settings to mine:
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.
Highlight 12.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 13 Into Selection.
Deselect
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.
Delete the template layer.
Highlight 13.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster Layer.
Copy and paste Paper 12 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Effects/Edge Effects/Enhance.
Delete the template layer.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. If you’re using the same tube as I did,
resize 50%.
Move into placement with in the frame.
Give the tube a drop shadow.
Highlight the frame and click inside of it with
your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Erase the bottom portion of the tube that
overhangs the frame.
Deselect.
Add your elements. I used:
El 27
El 11: Erase bottom part of the stem
El 9:
Resize 30%/Mirror
El 12:
Resize 35%/Duplicate/Mirror
El 59: Duplicate/Mirror/Flip
El 12:
Resize 45%/ Free Rotate Right 10 degrees
El 39: Resize 60%/Free rotate Left 75
degrees/Duplicate/Mirror
Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Add your copyrights.
Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #2c2f1b
Background: #3c3f2a
Set the stroke to 1.
Type your name.
Convert
to Raster Layer.
Apply Brush Strokes – Sprayed Strokes:
Use same settings.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel:
