“Her Diary” is a tagger size scrap kit created by me, Bev of HorsePlay’s Pasture and can be purchased from either of my stores:  Lollipops n Gumdrops or Butterfly Blush Designs.  You can visit my designing blog here. 

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template.

Shift + D.

Close out the Original.

Image/Canvas Size:

800 x 700

Open up the background layer and flood fill white.

Delete the top 5 layers, Zig Zag, Left Black Circle, Right Black Circle, Left Drk Purple Square layer, Right Drk Purple Square layer.

Highlight Large White Circle layer.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Copy and paste Paper 17 Into Selection.

Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:

Gaussian and Monochrome checked

Noise: 33%

OK

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with:

Left White Square layer, Right White Rectangle layer, Small White Circle layer

Highlight Large Purple Circle layer.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Highlight Left Purple Square layer.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Copy and paste Paper 9 as a new layer.

Move into a position you like over the template layer.

Tap the delete key.

Copy and paste a tube as a new layer over the paper.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Change the Properties of the tube layer to Overlay.

Highlight Right Purple Rectangle layer.

Repeat the above step using a different tube.

Highlight Small Purple Circle layer.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Copy and paste Paper 10 as a new layer.

Resize 65%

Move into position over the template layer.

Tap the delete key.

Copy and paste a tube as a new layer over the paper layer.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Change the Properties of the tube layer to Multiply.

Add your elements.  I used:

26:  Resize 55%/Duplicate

35:  Resize 70%/Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 70%

34:  Resize 70%/Duplicate

41:  Resize 35%

3:  Resize 35%/Duplicate/Mirror

61:  Resize 65%

62%:  Resize 65%

23:  Resize 80%

24:  Resize 80%

39:  Resize 70%

16:  Resize 50%/Mirror

50:  Resize 45%

8:  Resize 25%

9: Resize 20%/Duplicate

22:  Resize 40% - Use your Pick Tool to turn to get it exact where you want it placed over the “secret” element.

18:  Resize 35%

2:  Resize 45%/Duplicate/Free rotate Right 40 degrees

52:  Duplicate 3x’s 

Highlight your white canvas.

New Raster layer.

Select All.

Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Apply the mask.

Use your Pick Tool and pull the sides out a little.

Merge Group.

Add your name.

Color Pallet:

Foreground and Background: #313d33

Apply Eyecandy 3.1 Glow:

Width: 3

Opacity: 100%

Opacity Drop Off:  Fat

Color: #e4e4bd
