Supplies

1 tube of choice - I used the beautiful artwork of Sue Runde-Hughes which can be purchased from PSP Tube Stop.  You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Fluid Christmas here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.

Flood fill white.

New Raster layer.

Make your Selection Tool active set on Rectangle.

Create a rectangle approximately 225 x 300 pixels.

Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

New Raster layer.

Create another rectangle approximately 150 x 250 pixels.

Paste Paper 9 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Give it the same slight inner bevel.

Don’t worry about placement of the rectangle yet.

Copy and paste Frame 2 as a new layer.

Resize 55%

Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.

Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.

New Raster layer below the frame.

Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.

Copy and paste Candy Canes as a new layer just below the frame.

Move into position.

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Merge Visible the frame, candy canes, and paper layer.

Move the merged layer and rectangle into position - see my tag for reference.

Copy and paste Christmas Lights as a new layer.

Resize 40%

Move into position at the top of the Left Rectangle.

Highlight the rectangle layer.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Highlight the Light layer.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Repeat the above step with the Right Rectangle.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your elements.  I used:

Folded Ribbon 2:  Resize 80%

Holly Bells: Resize 30%

Bow 1:  Resize 30%/Mirror

Christmas Tree 1:  Resize 50%

Jingle Bells:  Resize 25%/Free rotate Right 10 degrees

Bear and Candy Cane:  Resize 30%

Street Lamp:  Resize 40%/Mirror

Gift Box 2:  Resize 25%

Stars and Snowflakes:  Resize 60%/Duplicate/Mirror

Snow:  Place behind the banner and erase what you don’t want seen.

Crop your image.

Highlight your white canvas.

New Raster layer.

Select All.

Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:

Radius: 10

OK

Apply the mask.

Resize 105%

Merge Group.

Duplicate

Change the Properties to Soft Light.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.

Give it the same Inner Bevel 2x.

Resize all layers 80%.
