Wish Upon a Star



Supplies

3 tubes of your choice - I used the wonderful artwork of Zindy S.D. Nielsen here
Font of Choice - I used Chocolate Box here
Weescotlass Mask 297 here
Mura Meister - Copies

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 X 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Open up Paper 9.
Use your Selection Tool and form a square in the center of the paper.
In your Color Pallet:
Foreground: Pattern/Use the paper
Background: Null

Set your Width to 15.

Make your canvas active.
Using your Ellipse Tool set on circle draw out a circle approximately 425 X 425.
Give it a slight inner bevel:


Move it just a tad to the right.
Click inside with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste Pebble 1 as a new layer.
Resize 25% and 95%
Apply Mura Meister - Copies:
Set on Encircle
Use these settings:



Edit/Copy
Highlight the frame.
Use your Magic Wand and click on it.
New Raster layer.
Paste Into Selection.
Deselect.

Delete the original ring of pebbles as you no longer need them.

Copy and paste Frame 2 as a new layer.
Resize 50%
Duplicate/Free rotate left 5 degrees.
Move both frames into position - see my tag for reference.

Highlight the top frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Selection/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Highlight the bottom frame.
Repeat the above step using a different tube.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Grass: Keep the size and place behind the frame/Duplicate/Mirror
Grass: Resize 90%/Place behind the bottom frame
Grass: Resize 50%/Place in front of the bottom frame.
Lace 1: Resize 50%/Move to the side a bit/Duplicate/Mirror/Erase what overlaps
Spray: resize 85%
Flower 3: Resize 60%/Free rotate left 45 degrees/Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 70%
Butterfly 1: Resize 25% and 70%/Free rotate left 35 degrees/Duplicate and/or mirror the butterfly as many times as you like.
Star 1: Resize 70%/Duplicate/Resize 70%

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your credits.

To add your name on a circular:
In your color pallet:
Forground: Black
Background: Null
Width set to 2.

Make your Ellipse Tool active set on Circle.
Create a circle that’s slightly larger than your circle frame.
Move your curser along the edge of the circle until you see a Rocking A.
Click your mouse.
A Text Box should appear - type your name in it.
OK
Click on the + sign beside your name in the layers palllet.
Close out the New Ellipse layer.
Right Click on Vector 1 layer
Convert to Raster layer.
Give your name a slight inner bevel:


Resize all layers 85%.
