Xenofex 1.0 – Shower Door

elements in this package are stunning!

This tutorial was
written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.
~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~
Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 700 Pixels
OK
Highlight the background layer.
Flood fill with #ffffff
Delete the following layers:
Credit, LAYERS 10, 9, 8, 7, 5 and 4.
Open Paper 2.
Copy
Paste as a new layer at the top of
your layers pallet.
Resize 40%
Close this layer out.
Highlight LAYER 1.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the closed-out paper layer
at the top of your layers pallet.
Right click your mouse on it.
Choose “Promote Section to Layer”.
Move the promoted layer just above
LAYER 1 template layer.
Click the lock icon at the top your
layers pallet to lock the layer.
Apply DSB Flux – Tiler:
Match your settings to mine –
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Click the lock at the top of your
layers pallet to unlock the layer.
Highlight LAYER 2.
Repeat the above step.
Highlight LAYER 3.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Duplicate the paper layer and open this
layer up by clicking on the eye icon.
Bring it just above LAYER 3 template
layer.
Move it into a position you like – I
chose the sand are near the middle.
Right click your mouse on the layer
and choose “Promote Section to Layer”.
(Delete the duplicated paper layer)
Lock the layer.
Apply Xenofex 1.0 – Shower Door:
Use Default Settings.
Deselect.
Unlock the layer.
Delete the template layer.
Highlight LAYER 6.
Click anywhere outside of the
template with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 2 as a new
layer above the template.
Resize 25%
Tap the Delete key.
Copy and paste El10 as a new layer.
Resize 30%
Move into position
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Merge Visible the rock element and
paper layer.
Give the merged layer a slight Inner
Bevel:
Highlight LAYER 13.
Merge Down.
Merge Down again.
All 3 small circle template layers
should now be on the same layer.
Click on each small circle with your
Magic Wand.
Highlight the paper layer.
Promote Section to Layer.
Move this just above the template
layer.
Deselect.
Delete the merged template layer.
Add your elements. I used:
El 5: Resize 20% (move it behind the large circle)
El 5 again: Resize 7%/Duplicate 2x’s for a total of 3
El 5 again: Resize 25% (move behind the rectangle papers)
El 4: Resize 10%/Duplicate 3x’s for a total of 4
El 16: Resize 10%/Duplicate
El 9: Resize 5%
El 3: Resize 30%
Open up the paper layer.
Move in your layers pallet just
above the background layer.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Duplicate
Add your copyrights.
Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #000000
Background: #000000
Stroke: 0.5
Type your name.
Duplicate
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #000000
Background: #41dbdd
Make your Color Replacer tool active
and double right click on your name.
In your layers pallet move the
colored name layer below the black name layer and move it slightly to the
right.
Merge Visible both name layers.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Gaussian and Monochrome checked
Noise: 35%
OK
Close out your white background.
Merge Visible.
Resize all layers 85%.
