Supplies Needed
1 tube of choice – I used
the artwork of PinUpToons which can be purchased from CDO.
You must have a license to use.

Mura’s Meister – Copies
Brush Strokes - Crosshatch

This tutorial was
written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.
~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~
Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.
New Raster layer.
Make your Selection Tool active set
on Rounded Rectangle.
Create a rectangle approximately 475
x 425 pixels.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Uniform and Monochrome checked
Noise: 43%
OK
Deselect.
Move the rectangle to the center of
your canvas.
Click anywhere outside of it with
your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Selections/Modify/Contract by 5
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Deselect.
New Raster layer.
Make your Selection Tool active set
on Rounded Rectangle.
Create a rectangle approximately 225
x 275 pixels.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Give the paper a slight Inner Bevel:
Duplicate the rectangle.
Move both rectangles into position –
see my tag for reference.
Copy and paste El 21 as a new layer.
Resize 10%
Apply Mura’s Meister – Copies:
Choose Encircle
Change the top 3 numbers:
Number: 70
Shift X: 55
Shift Y: 55
OK
Duplicate the brad ring and move
both into exact position – see my tag for reference.
To each brad ring:
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the ring.
Copy and paste Paper 1 Into
Selection.
Duplicate
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:
Radius: 5
OK
Apply Brush Strokes – Crosshatch:
Stroke Length: 41
Sharpness: 6
Strength: 1
OK
Copy and paste El 36 as a new layer.
Free rotate Left 75 degrees.
Move into position below the top
brad ring – see my tag for reference. Be
sure the length of it reaches through the bottom brad ring.
Duplicate the ribbon element.
Highlight the bottom paper of the
top ring.
Click anywhere outside of it with
your Magic Wand.
Highlight one of the ribbons and tap
the delete key.
Deselect.
Highlight the bottom paper of the
bottom ring.
Click anywhere outside of it with
your Magic Wand.
Highlight the other ribbon element
and tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Copy and paste El 13 as a new layer.
Resize 75%
Move into exact position – see my
tag for reference.
Click inside of the frame with your
Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 2 Into
Selection.
Duplicate
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:
Use same settings.
OK
Apply Brush Strokes – Crosshatch:
Use same settings.
OK
Deselect.
Resize the paper 110% and move over
slightly so you don’t see the blurry edge.
Copy and paste your tube as a new
layer.
Add your elements. I used:
El 56: Resize 60%
El 38: Resize 30%/Duplicate/Resize 80%/Duplicate
El 38 again: Duplicate
El 17: Resize 60%
El 12: Resize 50%/Erase the cracked shell piece
El 57
El 54: Resize 80%/Free rotate Left 90
degrees/Duplicate/Merge Down/Duplicate
El 14: Resize 35%/Free rotate Right 45 degrees/Duplicate
El 19: Resize 40%/Free rotate Left 35 degrees
Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into
Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Add your copyrights.
Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #e5915b
Background: #f7bfe7
Stroke: 1.5
Type your name.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel
2x’s
Resize all layers 85%.
