Season's Change

 


Supplies Needed

1 tube of choice – I used the beautiful artwork of Janna Prosvirina which can be purchased from
Digital Art Heaven here.
Font of choice – I used Bellimbing here
Rachel Design Mask Set 159: mask 3 here
Rachel Designs template 68 here
“Pumpkin Spice Match” is a Tagger Size scrap kit created by Happy Pumpkin Studio and can be purchased from Digital Art Heaven here

  This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP. 

 ~~ Let’s get started ~~

 Open the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Delete the following layers:
Raster 1. 
Close out Layer 6 for now.  You can decide if you want it or not later on in this tutorial.  

 Highlight Layer 1.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 1 as a new layer. 
Resize 75%.
Move into position over the template layer.
Right click on the paper in your layer’s pallet and choose “Promote Section to layer” from the sub menu.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper a sight Inner Bevel:



 In your layers pallet move the original paper layer above Template 5 layer.
Highlight Layer 5.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Right click on the paper in your Layer’s Pallet and choose “Promote Section to Layer”
Delete the original paper layer.
Copy and paste Element 4 as a new layer over the promoted paper layer.
Move into a position you like near the bottom – see my tag for reference.
Right Click on the element in your layers pallet.
From the sub menu choose “Promote Section to Layer”
Delete the original element layer.
Deselect.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.
Open up Layer 6.  Play around with the blend modes.  If you find one you like then use it, if not, delete the template layer.

Highlight Layer 2:
Copy and paste Paper 24 as a new layer.
Highlight the template layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the paper layer and right click on it in your layers pallet.
Choose “Promote Section to layer” from the sub menu.
Deselect.
Give the template paper layer the same slight Inner Bevel.

 In your layers pallet move the original paper layer above template layer 7.
Repeat the above step.

Move the original paper layer above template layer 3.
Repeat the above step.
Delete the original paper layer.

Move the original paper layer above template layer 8.
Highlight the template layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
In your layers pallet right click on the original paper layer.
Choose “Promote Section to Layer” from the sub menu.
Click the Lock Icon at the top of the layers pallet.
Adjust/Blur/Motion Blur:
Angle 180.00
Strength: 50%
OK
Deselect.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.
Delete the original paper layer and template layer.

Highlight Template layer 4.
Select All/Float/Defloat.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with #000000.  Be sure to click your mouse quite a few times so you can see the black polka dots on your canvas.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
El 30:  Resize 75%
El2:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Flip
El 80:  Free rotate Right 25 degrees/Resize 60%
El 25:  Resize 25%
El 108:  Resize 40%/Mirror/Duplicate/Resize 70%
El 60:  Resize 20%/Duplicate
El 40:  Resize 20%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights. 

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #ca2e35
Background: #fbbe2a
Set the stroke to.5
Type your name.
Convert to Raster Layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.
Tap the letter K on your keyboard and turn your name slightly.
