This tutorial was written
assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.
~♥~ Let’s
get started ~♥~
Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Highlight the very bottom
layer.
Image/Canvas Size
700 x 600 pixels.
Flood fill white.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #ffffff
Background: #c72f6a
Make your Color Replacer
Tool active.
Highlight Copy of Vector
1 layer (it’s just above Raster 2 layer)
Hover your mouse over it
on your tag and double right click it.
That frame to the
rectangle should have turned pink.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add
Noise:
Uniform checked
Noise: 68
OK
Repeat the above step
with (in order working from bottom to top in your layers pallet:
Copy of Vector 2
Copy of Vector 3
Copy of Vector 1
Copy of Vector 1
Copy of Vector 4
Highlight Raster 2 layer.
Click on it with your
Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 13
Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template
layer.
Highlight Raster 3
template layer.
Click on it with your
Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Paste Paper 13 Into
Selection.
Mirror
Copy and paste Element 19
as a new layer.
Move into a position you
like – see my tag for reference.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template
layer.
Highlight Raster 4 layer.
Click on it with your
Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 14
as a new layer and move into a position over the template that you like – I chose
the bottom right of the paper.
In your layers pallet
right click on the paper.
Choose “Promote Section
to Layer”
Delete the original paper
layer.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Copy and paste element 78
as a new layer.
Resize 40%
Duplicate
Move both elements into
position – see my tag for reference.
Highlight Raster 6
template layer.
Click on it with your
Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 7
Into Selection.
Deselect for now.
Copy and paste your tube
as a new layer.
Apply Brush Strokes – Sprayed
Strokes:
Stroke Length: 12
Spray Radius: 7
OK
Move the tube into a
position you like over the paper.
Highlight the template
layer again.
Click on it with your
Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube layer.
Right click on it in your
layers pallet.
Choose “Promote Section
to Layer”.
Delete the original tube
layer.
Lower the Opacity of the
promoted tube layer to about 20.
Highlight Raster 7
template layer.
Click on it with your
Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 14
Into Selection.
Duplicate the paper
layer.
Change the Properties to
Multiply.
Deselect.
Delete the template
layer.
Highlight Raster 5
template layer.
Click on it with your
Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 14
Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube
as a new layer.
Move into a position you
like over the paper – see my tag for reference.
Right click on the tube
layer in your layers pallet.
Choose “Promote Section
to Layer”
Delete the original tube
layer.
Change the Properties of
the promoted tube layer to Soft Light.
Deselect.
Delete the template
layer.
Copy and paste element 6
as a new layer.
Resize 10%
Apply Mura’s Meister –
Copies:
Change the top 3 numbers
to:
Number: 35
Shift X: 50
Shift Y: 50
OK
Duplicate the element ring
and move both into position – see my tag for reference.
Copy and paste your tube
as a new layer and position it to the right of the star – see my tag for
reference.
Add your elements. I used:
71: Resize 60%
57: Resize 10%
37: Resize 40%
69: Resize 45%
33: Resize 40%
21: Resize 45% and 90%
101: Resize if you like
Highlight your white
background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 7
Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 14
Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Change the Properties to
Overlay.
Add your copyrights.
Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground and Background:
#000000
Make your Text Tool
active.
Type your name.
Convert to Raster layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Selections/Modify/Expand
by 2.
New Raster layer below
the name.
Flood fill with #c72f6a
Adjust/Add Remove
Noise/Add Noise:
Use same settings as
before
OK
Close out your white
background.
Save your tag as a PNG.
