Supplies Needed
“Floppy Ears &
Fluffy Rears” is a tagger size scrap kit created by me, Bev of HorsePlay’s
Pasture Designs and can be purchased at any of my stores here. The list of them is in the upper right
corner.
This tutorial was
written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.
~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~
Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.
One of the elements in this tutorial
is a basket filled with eggs. We’re
going to fill that basket now and get it out of the way….
Open up El41.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Copy and paste the following
elements as new layers over the basket layer –
El 9: Resize 35%
El 5: Resize 40%
El 8: Resize 35%
El 7: Resize 40%
El 6: Resize 40%
Arrange the eggs how you would like
them to look in the basket.
Duplicate the basket layer and move
to the top of your layers pallet.
Make your Freehand Selection Tool
active set on Point to Point.
Select along the bows and basket and
section off the “inside area” of the basket:
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Merge Visible all layers.
Copy.
Make your working canvas active.
Paste as a new layer.
Close this layer out for now.
Copy and paste El 13 as a new layer.
Click inside of each section with
your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 14 Into
Selection.
Deselect for now.
Add the following elements below the
frame (don’t worry about what overhangs
the frame). We’ll clean that up in a bit
–
El 20: Duplicate
El 11: Resize 60% - move a layer of grass behind the
bunny house
El 58: Resize 60%
El 1: Resize 40%
El 5: Resize 30%/Free rotate Left 100 degrees
El 25: Resize 35%
Open up the basket of eggs you made
and resize 40%
Highlight the paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with
your Magic Wand.
Highlight each element layer and tap
the delete key.
Deselect.
Copy and paste El10 as a new layer.
Move into exact position – see my
tag for reference.
Copy and paste El 26 as a new layer.
Resize 60% and move into position – see
my tag for reference.
Duplicate and move this layer below
the first layer of grass.
Highlight the original element and
erase the bottom part of the bunny so that the furry little guy looks like he’s
standing IN the grass.
Add the rest of your elements. I used:
El 22: Resize 35%/Mirror
El 66: Resize 80%
El 36: Resize 50%
El 47: Resize 35%
El 64: Resize 50%
El 70: Resize 70%
Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 15 Into
Selection.
Deselect.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:
Radius: 10
OK
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Crop your image – be careful you don’t
clip off any of the mask!
Add your copyrights.
Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #874b92
Background: #fec1e0
Stroke: 0.8
Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:
Resize all layers 85%.
I’d love to see your results.
Hugs,
Bev
