Days Past

Supplies Needed

1 tube of choice – I used the wonderful artwork of Henning Ludvigsen and can be purchased from Up Your Art.  You must have a license to use.

Font of choice – I used Penshurst here

Weescotlass Mask 219 here

Scrap Rebellion Template 62 here

Plug Ins used:
Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II – Pool Shadow

This tutorial was written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Image/Canvas Size
700 x 700
OK
Highlight the background layer.
Flood fill white.
Delete Info, 3 lines, both small circle layers, and both frame layers that belong to the small circles.

Highlight Top Rectangle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 12 as a new layer and move into a position you like over the template layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Tip: You must do the following steps (as much as it may not make any sense!) or your Pool Shadow Plug In effect will not work.
Make your Selection Tool active set on Rectangle.
Section around the paper.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Click anywhere outside of the paper with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II – Pool Shadow:
Use Default Settings.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Btm Rectangle.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight Frame layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with #3f161c
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Random & Monochrome checked
Noise: 80%
OK
Deselect.

Repeat the above step with the other Frame layer and Noise Circle layer.

Highlight Circle 1 layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Use same settings.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Gradient Circle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 18 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer over the paper layer.
Change the Properties of the tube to Overlay and move into position.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Paste your tube again as a new layer and resize a little.
Move into position – see my tag for reference.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Move your tube to the top of your layers pallet.
Delete the template layer.

Color Pallet:
Foreground: #211c19
Background: #211c19

Highlight Dotted Circle layer.
Make your Color Replacer Tool active.
Double Right Click your mouse on the dotted circle layer.
It should have turned to the background color of your color pallet.

Copy and paste El 123 (from Pt 2 Folder) as a new layer.
Resize 20%
Duplicate/Mirror
Place each corner element at the corner of the top left rectangle.
Merge Visible both corner elements.
Duplicate/Flip/Position at the bottom of the rectangle.
Duplicate each merged element layer and position over the bottom right rectangle.

Add your elements.  I used:
El 17:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Duplicate/Duplicate and flip each flower
El 9:  Resize 70%/Duplicate
El 10:  Resize 40%/Duplicate
El 13:  Duplicate/Mirror/Flip
El 46:  Resize 35%
El 75:  Resize 80%
El 60:  Resize 45%
(from Pt 2 Folder)
EL 112:  Resize 30%/Duplicate/Mirro4

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 18 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 110%

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground:  #5e534c
Background: #a7ad7e
Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Resize all layers 85%.
