Supplies Needed
1 tube of choice – I
used the wonderful artwork of Ellie_Milk and can be purchased from PicsFor Design. You must generate a
license to use.
“Almost Summer” is a tagger

This tutorial was
written assuming you have working knowledge of PSP.
~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~
Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Delete the top 2 layers.
Image/Canvas Size
750 x 700
OK
New Raster layer.
Flood fill white.
Send to bottom.
Highlight Blue Line Bottom layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 00 Into
Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Delete the above step with:
Black Line Bottom, Black Line Top,
and Blue Line Top
Highlight Circle 4 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into
Selection.
Deselect.
Highlight Circle 3 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Copy and paste Sun 01 as a new
layer.
Resize 25% and move into position –
see my tag for reference. (It’s behind the palm tree)
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Highlight Circle Frame 2 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into
Selection.
Deselect.
Repeat the above step with Circle
Frame 1 layer.
Highlight Circle 2 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into
Selection.
Add the following elements above the
paper layer – don’t worry about what overhangs the circle. We’ll clean that up in a bit.
Sand 01: Resize 70%
Sea Grass 3: Resize 40%
Sea Blossom 3: Resize 25%
Sea Grass 3 again: Resize 70%
Anchor 001: Resize 35%
Fish 4: Resize 40%/ Duplicate/Resize 70%
Fish 2: Resize 20%/Mirror
Fish 3: Resize 40%/Duplicate and resize as you like.
Tip: A couple of the fish I resized
smaller and change the Properties to Soft Light.
Highlight the paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with
your Magic Wand.
Highlight each element that
overhangs the paper and tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Highlight Circle 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 00 Into
Selection.
Copy and paste Summer Palms 04 as a
new layer.
Resize 70%
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Copy and paste your tube as a new
layer.
Position in front of the lower
circle.
Add your elements. I used:
Summer Palm 01: Resize 50%
Frame 4: Resize 80%/Duplicate
Bow 5: Resize 25%Duplicate
Daisy 1
Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into
Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 105%
Merge Group.
Add your copyrights.
Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #675134
Background: Pattern/Paper 9
Stroke: 2.0
Type your name.
Convert to Raster layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
SElectios/Modify/Contract by 2
Apply a slight Inner Bevel:
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Uniform and Monochrome checked
Noise: 25%
OK
Deselect.
Copy and paste Beach Sand 3 as a new
layer.
Resize 60%
Position it below your name. If the sand is too wide then tap the letter K
on your keyboard to activate your Pick Tool and pull the side in until it fits
nicely below your name.
Resize all layers 85%.
