Elegant Summer


1 tube of choice - I used the beautiful artwork of Gary George which can be purchased from Up Your Art. You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Oh Lara - a pay font

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Cloud Frame 1 as a new layer.
Resize 70%
Move it up slightly on the canvas.
Use your Magic Wand and click inside of each square.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 2.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Copy and paste Grass Strip 1 a new layer below the frame.
Resize 70%/Duplicate twice
Highlight each grass layer and tap the delete key.
Copy and paste Bird House 1 as a new layer below the frame.
Resize 50%
Tap the delete key.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Position in front of the frame in it’s exact position.
Move slightly to the left and up a bit.
In your layers pallet move below the frame.
Highlight the paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube layer below the frame.
Tap the delete key.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Natural Bloom 1: Resize 30%/Duplciate/Resize 70%/Duplicate twice flipping one of them.
Leaves 1: Resize 60%/Duplicate/Mirror/Flip
Natural Bloom: Resize 50%
String 1: Resize 50%/Mirror/Free rotate Left 30 degrees
Dragonfly 1: Resize 25%
Orchid 1: Resize 80%/Mirror

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 11 Into Selection.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
In your color pallet:
Foreground: #435f0e
Background: Pattern/Paper 4
Stroke: 1.25
Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Resize all layers 80%.
