The Beauty of Winter Faries


Supplies Needed:

Tube of choice - I'm using the FTU artwork of Soa Lee
Site is currently down for renewal.
Font of choice - I'm using Celexa
Mask 20-20

~♥~ Let’s Get Started ~♥~

Note: I gave a light drop shadow to all elements

Open a new canvas 600 x 600. Flood fill white.

New Raster Layer. Select All. Copy and Paste into Selection Paper 1. Deselect. Apply the mask. Merge group.

Copy and Paste Feathered Frame as a new layer. Use the magic wand and select inside. Selections/Modify/ Expand by 8. New Raster Layer just below the Feathered Frame layer. Make a gradient with colors from your tube with the following settings:
Linear
Angle 45
Repeat 3

Flood fill inside the frame. Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur/Radius 30. Do not deselect. Copy and Paste your tube as a new layer just above the gradient layer. Selections/Invert. Hit the delete key.

New Raster Layer above the Feathered Frame layer. Effects/3D Effects/Cutout with the following settings:
Vertical and Horizontal: 5
Opacity 35
Blur 25
Shadow Color (a dark color from your tube)
Fill interior with color unchecked

New Raster Layer. Repeat the above step accept change the Vertical and Horizontal numbers to -5.

Close out the white canvas layer and the mask layer. Merge Visible.

Copy and paste as a new layer behind the merged layer Swirl Bling 2. Place where you like. Duplicate/Mirror/Flip.

Copy and paste as a new layer Feather 5. Place where you like.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name. I used an Inner Bevel with these settings:
Bevel: 2
Width: 7
Smoothness: 10
Depth: 2
Ambience: 1
Shininess: 10
Color: white
Angle: 315
Intensity: 50
Elevation: 30

Save your tag and you’re done!
