Magical Winter Stroll


Supplies Needed

1 tube of choice – I used the artwork of Renee Lavoie which can be purchased here

Font of choice – I used Chiagmai Hostel here

Weescotlass mask 236 here

Millie’s PSP Madness template 795 here

“Magical Winter Stroll” is a PTU tagger size scrap kit created by Moonshine Dezignz and can be purchased from Digital Art Heaven.  Thank you so much for such a beautiful winter kit, Sue!   
  
This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Delete the top 6 layers and Layer #3.
Highlight the white background layer and open it up.
The layers is not exactly white so go ahead and Flood fill it with #ffffff
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 550 px
OK
Flood fill white.

Highlight 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 4 as a new layer above the template layer.
Right click on it in your layers pallet.
Choose “Promote Section to layer”.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Deselect.
Delete the Original paper layer and template layer.

Highlight Layer 5.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Copy and paste Element 38 as a new layer.
Resize 60% and 85%
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight 2 layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight 5 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.
Deselect.
Copy and paste Element 38 over the paper layer.
Resize 60% and move into position so you can see the tree on the right side just a little.

Copy and paste Frame 1 as a new layer.
Resize 20% and 80%.
Duplicate
Move both frames into position – see my tag for reference.

To each frame:
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
Copy and paste Paper 2 as a new layer below the frame.
Resize the paper 40%
Move into a position you like.
Right click on the paper and choose Promote Section to Layer.
Delete the original paper layer.
Copy and paste Element 11 as a new layer just below the frame.
Resize 30%
Move into position near the top of the frame – see my tag for reference.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
If you’re using the same tube as I did, resize 45%
Move into position in front of the frames – see my tag for reference.

Add your elements.  I used:
El 31:  Resize 35%/Duplicate/Use Pick Tool to turn one of them slightly/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Use Pick Tool to turn slightly
El 33:  Resize 60%
El23:  Resize 30%/Duplicate/Mirror/Duplicate
El12:  Resize 10%
El30:  Resize 15%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Duplicate
El 30 again:  Resize 10%/Duplicate/Resize 90%/Duplicate
El 39:  Resize 40%
El 60:  Resize 20%
El 18:  Resize 25%/Duplicate/Mirror
El 21:  Resize 13%/Use Pick Tool to turn slightly
El 41:  Resize 10%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 110%
Merge Group

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #081316
Background: #273133

Make your Text Tool active.
Set the stroke to 1.0
Type your name.
Convert to Raster layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:


Close out your white background.
Resize as you like.
Save your tag as a PNG.
