This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP. 

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 canvas.

Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Frame 1 as a new layer.

Resize 25%

Duplicate

Resize 80%

Move both frames into position – see my tag for reference.

To each frame:

Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.

Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.

New Raster layer below the frame.

Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.

Copy and paste Spider 1 as a new layer below the large frame.

Resize 5%

Move into position – see my tag for reference.

Copy and paste Haunted House as a new layer below the large frame.

Resize 10% and 60%

Move into position – see my tag for reference.

Copy and paste Pumpkin 2 as a new layer.

Resize 15%

Move just below the paper of the large frame into position – see my tag for reference.

Copy and paste Witch 3 as a new layer.

Resize 15% and 90%.

Copy and paste Cat as a new layer.

Resize 20%

Mirror

Move into position behind the witch – see my tag for reference.

Copy and paste Grass as a new layer.

Resize 10%

Duplicate the grass 2x’s and mirror one of them.

Line the grass up in front of the witch and cat – see my tag for reference.

Merge Visible all 3 grass layers.

Make your Pick Tool active and flatten the grass just a little. 

Copy and paste Spider 2 as a new layer.

Resize 5% and 75%

(You can duplicate this later to decorate the words around the circle) 

Highlight your white background.

New Raster layer.

Select All.

Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Apply the mask.

Merge Group.

Color Pallet:

Foreground: #000000

Close out the background.

Make your Ellipse Tool active set on Draw Circle.

Set width to 2.00

Draw out a circle around the large frame.

Color Pallet:

Foreground: #181a21

Background: #f36d2c

Use DragonbonesBB_bold font

Make your Text Tool active. 

Move the cursor along the right side of the circle until you see a rocking A, click your mouse.

The text box will appear.  Type My Besties Halloween (or whatever you want).

In your layers pallet click on the + sign.

Close out the eye of the New Ellipse layer.

Right click your mouse on Vector 1 layer.

Choose “Convert to Raster Layer”.

Give it a slight Inner Bevel 2x’s:

Make your Freehand Selection Tool active set on Freehand.

Section around the bottom 1/3 of the words.

Ctrl + H (to open the Feather Selection Box)

Feather amount: 30

OK

Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:

Gaussian and Monochrome checked’

Duplicate the spider element and add to the words for decoration.

Color Pallet:

Foreground: #16141a

Background: #313132

Use The Gingerbread House font.

Type your name.

Give it a slight Inner Bevel 2x’s:

Give your name a drop shadow – be sure to tick the box “Shadow on Own Layer”.

In your layers pallet click the Layer Link Toggle box until the word “None” appears.

Flip the drop shadow layer and move into position just below your name – see my tag for reference.

Repeat the above step with the house element.

Add your copyrights.

Close out your white background.

Save your tag as a PNG.
