Supplies

1 tube of choice – I used the fabulous artwork of Arthur Crowe which can now be purchased from his store here.  You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Havlova Austra here

Weescotlass Mask 249 here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.

Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Frame 1 as a new layer.

Resize 30% and 85%

Duplicate 2x’s and line then up vertically – see my tag for reference.

Close out your white background.

Merge Visible.

Copy and paste Frame 4 as a new layer.

Resize 85%

Free rotate Left 45 degrees

Move the frame layers into position on your canvas – see my tag for reference.

Highlight the large frame.

Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.

Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.

New Raster layer below the frame.

Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Highlight the merged frame layer.

Click inside of each with your Magic Wand.

Selections/Modify/Expand by 3.

New Raster layer below the frames.

Copy and paste Paper 15 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Position it in front of both frame layers – see my tag for reference.

Duplicate/Move below the large frame layer.

Change the Properties to Overlay.

Highlight the paper below the tube.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Highlight the tube above it.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Highlight your original tube layer again.

Duplicate/Move below the merged frames layer.

Change the Properties to Multiply.

Highlight the paper below the tube.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Highlight the tube above it.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Add your elements.  I used:

Bricks:  Resize 65%/Duplicate

Key String:  Resize 60%/Mirror

Butterfly:  Resize 25%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Mirror

Beads:  Resize 60%/Mirror

Branches:  Resize 65%

  

Highlight your white background.

New Raster layer.

Select All.

Copy and paste Paper 20 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Duplicate/Change the Properties to Multiply.

Merge Down.

Apply the mask.

Resize 110%

Merge Group.

Add your credits.

Add your name.

Resize all layers 80%.
