Snow Girl


Supplies Needed

1 tube of choice – I used the artwork of Jennifer Janesko which can be purchased from CDO.

Font of choice – I used Smiling and Laughing here

Weescotlass mask 236 here

Rachel Designs Tag Template 68 here

Plug In used:
Brush Stroke - Crosshatch

“Muted Winter” is a gorgeous tagger size scrap kit created by Tiny Turtle Designs and can be purchased here.  
  
This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Delete Raster 1 layer, 7, and 4.
Resize all layers to 700 x 700 pixels

Highlight 1.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight 2.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:

Random and Monochrome checked
Noise: 68%
OK

Highlight 3.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 13 Into Selection.
Lock the layer.
Adjust/Blur/Motion Blur:
Angle: 90
Strength: 100
Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen 2x
Unlock the layer.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight 5.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer over the paper layer.
Change the Properties of the tube to Burn.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Selections/Modify/Inside Outside Feather:
Both checked
Feather amount: 25
OK
Tap the delete key a couple of times.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight 8.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 13 as a new layer.
Move into a position you like over the template layer.
Right click on the paper in your layers pallet.
Choose “Promote Section to Layer”
DO NOT DESELECT YET
Delete the original paper layer.
Apply Brush Strokes – Crosshatch:
Stroke: 9
Sharpness: 6
Strength: 2
OK
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer over the paper layer.
Change the Properties of the tube layer to Soft Light.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Selections/Modify/Inside Outside Feather:
Both checked
Feather amount: 25
OK
Tap the delete key a couple of times.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Copy and paste Element 49 as a new layer.
Free rotate Left 90 degrees.
Place behind the smaller vertical rectangle paper – see my tag for reference.
Make your Selection Tool active and section off the right side of the element.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your elements.  I used (see my tag for reference):
75:  Free rotate Left 90 degrees/Duplicate/Place behind the oval paper
64:  Duplicate/Flip
87:  Resize 70%/Free rotate Left 90 degrees/Duplicate (and mirror and flip) as many times as you like placing the elements here and there
27:  Resize 15%/Duplicate/Flip
46:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Mirror
116:  Resize 60%
44:  Resize 20%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Duplicate
52:  Resize 30%/Free rotate Left 90 degrees/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Duplicate
17:  Resize 5%/Duplicate 2x’s
21:  Resize 5%
20:  Resize 10%
19:  Resize 8%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #ccc3c3
Background: #e0dedf
Type your name.
Convert to Raster layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Close out your white background.
Save your tag as a PNG.
