Dragon Dreams

Supplies Needed  

1 tube of choice – I used the adorable artwork of Lisa Victoria which can be purchased from Up Your Art.  You must have a license to use. 

Font of choice – I used Black Boys on Mopeds here

 "A Dragon's Dreamy Day" is a tagger size scrap kit created by me, Bev of HorsePlay's Pasture Designs and can be purchased from any of my stores here.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Resize all layers 90%
Image/Canvas size
750 x 750
OK
Highlight the background layer.
Flood fill white.
Delete the top 3 layers, Zig Zag Line, and Teal Rec.

Highlight Grey Rec Top layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 13 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper layer a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight Grey Rec Bottom layer.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight Dk Grey Rec Top layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Open up Paper 11/Flip/Copy and Paste Into Selection.
Deselect.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Dk Grey Rec Bottom layer.
Repeat the above step.

Copy and paste El25 as a new layer.
Resize 70%
Duplicate
Move each frame layer over Blk Circle Top layer and Blk Circle Bottom layer.
Delete the template layers.
To each frame:
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 11 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Teal Oval layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 17 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Teal Noisey Oval Frame layer.
Use your Target Tool and change the color of it to #a88eb5.

Highlight Blk Oval layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Change the Properties of the tube to Soft Light and lower the Opacity to about 46.
Move the tube into a position you like.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Copy and paste El47 as a new layer.
Move into a position you like.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Copy and paste El33 as a new layer.
Resize 85%
Copy and paste EL29 as a new layer.
Resize 20% and 80%
Move into position - see my tag for reference.
Duplicate - move this layer below the air baloon in your layers pallet.
Highlight the original Elephant layer.
Use your Eraser Tool and erase the lower part of the elephant so it looks like it's standing inside the balloon.  
Merge Visible the air balloon and both elephant layers.

Add your elements.  I used:
El70
El 30:  Resize 70%/Mirror
El 12:  Resize 50%
El 15:  Resize 15%
EL 14:  Resize 10%
El 72:  Resize 70%
El 71:  Resize 70%/Free rotate Right 10 degrees
El 49
El 9:  Resize 40%/Free rotate Left 15 degrees/Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 70%
El 55:  Resize 50%/Duplicate/Flip/Resize 70%
El 79:  Duplicate

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All
Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:
Radius: 15
OK
Apply the mask.
Resize 110%
Merge Group.
Duplicate/Change the Properties to Multiply/Lower the Opacity to about 28.

Add your copyright.

Add your name:
Color Pallet: 
Foreground: 000000
Background: Pattern/Paper 1 (Blur the same as you did for the mask)
Angle: 0
Scale 30

Stroke: 1.5

Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Resize all layers 80%.

A Dragon's Dreamy Day

Supplies Needed  

1 tube of choice – I used the wonderful artwork of Joanna Bromley which can be purchased from PSP Tube Stop.  You must have a license to use.  The artwork of this tube inspired me to make the kit and can be purchased together for a great savings at PSP Tube Stop. 

Font of choice – I used LD Funky Scribble - a pay font.  Childish should work just as nice here

Animation Shop

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

New Raster layer.
Select All
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Duplicate
Change the Properties to Multiply
Don't close the mask out.  You'll be using it again.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
If you're using the same tube as I did, resize 70%

Copy and paste EL49 as a new layer.
Move into position so that it looks as if the tube is sitting/standing on it.
See my tag for reference.
Duplicate/Mirror the cloud element if you need more cloud cover.
You can duplicate the original cloud layer and resize as you'd like if you want more clouds.

Add the elements.  Don't worry about what overhangs the mask.  We'll clean that up in a bit.  I used:
El27:  Resize 25%/Mirror
El34:  Resize 70%/Free rotate Left 5 degrees
El47
El43:  Resize 70%

Highlight the Moon layer.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Highlight the Rainbow layer.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

You can close the mask out now.

Duplicate the rainbow layer twice for a total of 3 rainbow layers.
Rename them Rainbow 1, Rainbow 2, Rainbow 3.

Highlight Rainbow 1 layer.
Apply DSB Flux - Bright Noise:
Intensity: 10
Mix checked
OK
Close this layer out.

Open up Rainbow 2 layer.
Apply the same noise effect accept hit the mix button twice.
OK
Close this layer out.

Open up Rainbow 3 layer.
Apply the same noise effect accept hit the mix button 3 times.
OK
Close this layer out.
Reopen Rainbow 1 layer.

Copy and paste EL32 as a new layer.
Mirror
Type each letter of your name, but keep it on a layer of it's own, and make change each layer to a Raster layer.
After you have all the letters of your name typed make your Pick Tool active by pressing the letter K on your keyboard.
Move the letters into position over the banner of the airplane turning the letters according to where they sit on the banner - see my tag for refernce.
After you've done that, Merge Visible all the letters in your name.
Give it a drop shadow.
Merge Visible your name and the plane.
Rename this layer "Airplane"
Move this layer all the way to the left side of your canvas so all you can see is the propeller of the plane.
Close this element layer out.

Add your copyright.

Copy Merge.

~Time to Animate~

Open up Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/As New Animation.

Back in PSP.
Close out Rainbow 1.
Open up Rainbow 2.
Copy Merge.

Carry into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Back in PSP.
Close out Rainbow 2.
Open up Rainbow 3.
Copy Merge.

Carry into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Ctrl + A to highlight all 3 frames.
Ctrl + C to copy all the frames.
Click your mouse on frame 3 only.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.
Click your mouse on Frame 3 again.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.
Click your mouse on Frame 3 once again.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.
Click your mouse on the very last Frame to highlight it.

Back in PSP.
Close out Rainbow 3.
Open up Rainbow 1.
Open up "Airplane" layer.
Copy Merge.

Carry into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Back in PSP.
Move the plane a little to the right.
Close out Rainbow 1 layer.
Open up Rainbow 2 layer.
Copy Merge.

Carry into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Back in PSP.
Close out Rainbow 2 layer.
Open up Rainbow 3 layer.
Move the plane a little to the right.
Copy Merge.

Carry into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Keep repeating the above steps until the only part of the plane you can see is the very end of the banner.
After you've pasted all the frames press Ctrl + A to highlight all the frames.
Animation/Frame Properties:
Change it to 23
OK
(You can change the property number if you like.  The bigger the number the slower the animation runs)

View your animation.
If you're happy with it then save.

Bee to the Honey

Supplies Needed  

1 tube of choice – I used the wonderful artwork of Elias Chatzoudis which can now be purchased from his shop here.  You must have a license to use. 

Font of choice – I used Great Vibes here

 "Honey to the Bee" is a tagger size scrap kit created by Stina of Designs by Stina and can be purchased from any of her stores here. Thank you Stina for another fantastic kit!  

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and Paste Frame 2 as a new layer.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and pate Paper 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Copy and paste Frame 01 as a new layer.
Resize 70%
Duplicate
Move both frames into position - see my tag for reference.
To each frame:
Make your Selection Tool active set on Point to Point and draw a line around the frame, keeping the dotted line alone the center of the frame edges.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
Bird Feeder
Floral 01:  Resize 90%
Iris 02:  Resize 50%
Grass:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Mirror
Bee 01:  Resize 30%/Duplicate/Mirror/Duplicate
Wire 01:  Resize 90%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyright.

Add your name:
Color Pallet: 
Foreground: #5e340f
Background: Pattern/Paper 3
Stroke: 1.3

Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Resize all layers 80%.
