Jungle Vanity

Font of Choice - BubbleSoft here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open a transparent 700 x 700 canvas.
Flood Fill white.

Foreground: Set to Pattern using a paper of choice from kit
Background: Null
Use your Ellipse Tool - width set on 10
Create a circle to fill the center of your canvas.
Promote to Raster Layer
Give it a slight inner bevel:



Open up Paper 3.
Shift + D
Close out the original.
Right click on it in your layers pallet
Promote Background Layer
Apply Mura Meister Cloud



Copy Merge.

Make your working canvas active again.
Use your Magic Wand and click inside the circle.
Paste your cloud image below the circle layer.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4
Selections/Invert
Hit the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy, Paste, and arrange Palm Trees 1 & 2 below the circle.
It’s alright if it hangs outside the circle. We’ll take care of that later.

Copy and Paste Ferns 2 as a new layer.
Arrange near the bottom of the circle.

Copy and Paste the Hippo as a new layer.
Position near the bottom of the circle.

Make sure the elements are where you want them.
Once they are, highlight each layer and tap the delete key.

Close out the white background.
Merge Visible.
Reopen the white background.

Copy and paste Frame 3 as a new layer.
Resize 70%.
Mirror and move to left side of circle.

Use your Magic Wand and click inside of each square.
Copy and paste your cloud paper again below the frame.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
Selections/Invert.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste Giraffe as a new layer.
Mirror. Move into position at the right side of your circle.
Duplicate/Mirror
Click your mouse on the duplicated image and then press your left arrow key. Move the Giraffe over until it’s positioned below the frame.

Using your Magic Wand again, click inside of each square of the frame.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
Selections/Invert.
Be sure the duplicated giraffe layer is highlighted
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Change the Properties to Multiply.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Monkey
Clouds 1 & 2
Palm Tree 1
Palm Tree 2: Resize 80%
Sun: Resize 60%
Leaf Branches 1
Grass 4: Resize 50%

Highlight your white canvas.
Select All.
Copy and patse a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights if you used a tube.
If you only used what was in the kit, be kind an give credit to Nikki.

Add your name.
I gave mine an inner bevel:


I resized Wrap 3 by 50% and placed behind my name.

Resize all layers 85%.

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.
~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open a transparent 700 x 700 canvas.
Flood Fill white.

Copy and paste a paper of choice as a new layer.
Resize 65%.
Apply Alien Skin Xenofex - Burnt Edges


Copy and paste another paper of choice as a new layer.
Resize 65%.
Apply Alien Skin Denorex - Burnt Edges
Same settings.
Free Rotate right 45 degrees.

Copy and paste Frame 15 as a new layer.
Resize 75%.
Use your Magic Wand and click inside.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 6.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Flood fill with a gradient of your choice.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Copy and paste Sunflower 2 as a new layer.
Move to the upper left corner of the bottom paper.
In your layers pallet move it just above your white canvas.
Duplicate/Mirror.
Duplicate/Flip
Duplicate/Mirror.
Merge visible all these sunflower layers.
Resize 90%.
Duplicate.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur
Radius: 20
Apply Toadies - Ommadawn
Default settings.

Copy and paste Flower Branch 3 as a new layer just above your rotated paper.
Move slightly to the left.
Duplicate/Mirror.

Copy and paste Flower Bow 3 as a new layer.
Resize 30%.
Duplicate/Mirror.

Copy and paste Butterflies 1 & 2 as new layers.
Resize 25%.
Free rotate as you like.
Duplicate as many times as you like.

Copy and paste Beautiful Butterflies 1 & 2 as new layers.
Resize 20%
Free rotate as you like.
Duplicate as many times as you like.

Copy and paste Fluffy Butterfly 2 as a new layer.
Resize 20%.
Free rotate as you like.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.

Resize all layers 85%.

Magic of the Night

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open a transparent 700 x 700 canvas.
Flood Fill white.

In your color pallet close off your foreground.
Background: Black
Using your Preset Rectangle make a Rectangle in the center of your canvas. See mine for reference.
Convert to Raster layer.
Create another rectangle beside it.
Convert to Raster Layer.
Duplicate/Mirror.
Move into better position it you have to.
Close out your white canvas.
Merge Visible.
Reopen your white canvas.

Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer over the merged layer.
Copy and Paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Selections/Modify/Contract by 3.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
You’ve now created a “Frame”.
Deselect.
Give this layer a Drop Sahdow
Vertical and Horizontal: 1
Opacity: 100
Blur: 1
Color Black.
Repeat the Drop Shadow accept change the Vertical and Horizontal numbers to -1.

Copy and paste your elements below the “Frame”.
Don’t worry about them overhanging….we’ll get to that in a bit.
These are the elements I used:
Love Tree 1 & 2
Rock Fern
Fern 2
Glitter 1: Resize 50%. Duplicate/Mirror
My tube of choice.

Highlight your Black Rectangles Layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Selections/Invert.
Now highlight each of your element layers and tap the delete key.
Deselect.

If you plan to animate then Merge Visible your Glitter 1 layers.
Duplicate 2 times for a total of 3.
Rename them Glitter 1, 2, and 3.
Highlight Glitter 1
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise

Highlight Glitter 2 and apply Noise accept change the Noise number to 44.
Highlight Glitter 3 and apply Noise accept change the Noise number to 66.

Close out Glitter 2 & 3.
Keep Glitter 1 open.

Highlight the top layer in your layer pallet.
Copy and paste Wagon 2 as a new layer.
Resize 50%.

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster Layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the Mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
I gave mine a hint of Glitter by changing the Noise number back to 22.

Resize all layers 85%.

Time to Animate:
Copy Merge and carry into Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/As New Animation.

Back in PSP.
Close out Glitter 1 and open up Glitter 2.
Copy Merge and carry into Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Back in PSP.
Close out Glitter 2 and open up Glitter 3.
Copy Merge and carry into Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.
View your animation.
If you're happy then save.
