Wicked Witch

Supplies

1 tube of choice - I used the amazing artwork of Katerina Koukiotis which can be purchased from PSP Tube Stop.  You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Yataghan here

Plug Ins used:
Mura's Meister - Cloud
Eyecandy 5 - Nature: Fire
Eyecandy 5 - Texture: Stone Wall
AAA Frames - Photo Frame

Animation Shop

"The Perfect Scare" is a FTU scrap kit created by me and can be downloaded from my  designing blog here.  

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let's get started ~♥~

Open up a blank 590 x 250 canvas.

Color Pallet:
Foreground:  #202020
Background:  #c0c0c0

Apply Mura's Meister - Cloud:
Use Default settings and play around with the Amount bar to get the effect you want.
OK
TIP: If you have the effect you like but doesn't seem to be dark enough then duplicate the Cloud layer and change the Properties to Multiply.

In your color pallet, close out the background color.

Make your Ellipse Tool active set on Circle.
Line Style: Solid
Width: 20
Make a circle large enough so that you create a bent line on each side of your canvas - see my tag for reference.
Effects/Text Effects/Blinds:

Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Duplicate the circle layer.
Shift + B - the Brightness/Contrast Box will appear:
Brightness: 70
Contrast: 15
OK
Move this circle slightly to the right and in your layers pallet move it below the darker circle.
Merge Visible both circle layers.
Make your Magic Wand active and click inside the circle layer.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
Selections/Invert
Highlight the Cloud layer (it's ok if you have 2 cloud layers, just highlight the top layer)
Right Click and choose Promote Section to Layer from the pop up menu.
Apply Eyecandy 5 Texture - Stone Wall:
Match the Basic Tab to mine.

Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer just above the cloud layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
12
34:  Resize 40%/Recolorize using the #202020 color
13:  Resize 25%

Shift + D (to duplicate your entire canvas)

Image/Add Borders:
Symmetric checked
Color: #000000
Top, Left, Right, Bottom: 3
OK

Image/Add Borders:
Change the color to #ffffff
Symmetric checked
Top, Left, Right, Bottom: 10
OK
Use your Magic Wand and click on the white border.
Highlight the duplicated canvas.
Copy
Make your working canvas active.
Paste/Into Selection.
Apply AAA Frames - Photo Frame:
Use Default Settings.
OK
Copy and paste Element 40 as a new layer.
Resize 60% and move into a position you like that looks nice within the marching ants area.  Duplicate this element as many times as you like to get the effect you like.
Selections/Invert
Highlight and Tap the delete key on each element layer.
Deselect.

Image/Add Borders:
Symmetric checked
Color: #000000
Top, Left, Right, Bottom: 3
OK

Copy and paste Element 3 as a new layer.
Resize 50%
Duplicate/Mirror
Move both elements into position on each side of your canvas - 
see my tag for reference.
Merge Visible both elements.
Duplicate 2x's for a total of 3 layers.
Rename them Light 1 Light 2, and Light 3.
Highlight Light 1 layer.
Make your Freehand Selection Tool active and trace around the flame of each lamp.
Apply Eyecandy 5: Nature - Fire:
Settings Tab:
Small, Candle

Basic Tab:

Colors Tab:
Tip: Click on any of the arrows to make the color box active so you can change it.

OK

Close Light 1 out.
Highlight and Open up Light 2 layer.
Apply the same fire effect accept hit the Random Seed button once.
OK

Close out Light 2 layer.
Highlight and Open up Light 3 layer.
Hit the Random Seed button once.
OK
Deselect.
Close this layer out.
Reopen Light 1 layer.

Copy and paste Element 19 as a new layer.
Resize 25% and turn the spider to a position you like.

Add your credit.

Add your name -

Color Pallet:
Foreground: #c0c0c0
Background: #202020
Stroke: 1

Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Copy Merge.

~Time to Animate~

Open up Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/As New Animation.

Back in PSP.
Close out Light 1 layer.
Open up Light 2 layer.
Copy Merge

Carry into AS
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Back in PSP.
Close out Light 2 layer.
Open up Light 3 layer.
Copy Merge

Carry into AS
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Ctrl + A - to highlight all frames.
Animation/Frame Properties:
Display time: 18
OK

View your animation.
If you're happy then save.

To make the Avatar:
Make a 125 x 125 blank canvas.
Copy the forum banner.
Paste as a new layer.
Resize 60% and move into a position you like.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with #000000
Select All.
Selections/Modify/Contract by 3.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Using the same font you used on the banner, type the first initial of your name.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Save as a jpeg.

Posession


Supplies Needed  

1 tube of choice – I used the awesome artwork of Anna Marine which can be purchased from CDO.  You must have a license to use. 

Font of choice – I used Dragonfly 

Weescotlass Mask 236 here

"Dark Ocean" is a tagger size scrap kit created by Jessica of Gothic Inspirations and can be purchased from her store here.  You can visit her blog here.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Frame 6 as a new layer.
Resize 75%
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 3.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Copy and paste Lights as a new layer just above the paper.
Resize 70% and move into position - see my tag for reference.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Move into position.
Duplicate
Move below the frame.
Highlight the paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube just above the paper.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Highlight the original tube layer and erase what you don't want to overhang the frame.

Copy and paste Wood as a new layer.
Resize 70%
To feather the element:
Use your Freehand Selection Tool and circle around the element making sure the marching ants are touching the strict edges of the bottom and right side.  
Selections/Invert.  
Selections/Modify/Inside Outside Feather:
Both checked
Feather amound: 25
OK
Tap your delete key a few times.
Deselect.
Move the element into position - see my tag for reference.

Add your elements (the elements that are just over the mask we'll get to in a bit).  I used:
Wheel:  Resize 40%
Hour Glass:  Resize 40%
Grass:  Place behind the frame/Duplicate/Resize 50%
Pelican:  Resize 40%/Mirror
Lamp:  Resize 35%
Crows:  Resize 65%
Sand 1
Sparkles:  Resize 60%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 6 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add the following elements just over the mask.  Don't worry about what overhangs the mask.  We'll take care of that in a bit.
Moon:  Resize 50%/Change the Propertries to Difference
Old Net
Bubbles:  Resize 60%

Merge Visible the 3 elements.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Crop your image a little.

Add your copyright.

Add your name.

Color Pallet:
Foreground: #000000
Background: #52424d
Stroke: 1.0
Give your name a slight Inner Bevel:

Save.

Spooks on the Loose

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Delete the credit layer.

Highlight Raster 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Raster 2 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Raster 3 layer.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight Raster 4 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Raster 5 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Raster 6 layer.
Click on it wiht your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 6 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Raster 7 layer.
Click on it wiht your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Apply Toadies - Blast 'em!
Use Default Settings.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Raster 7, 8, and 10.

Highlight Raster 9 layer.
Click on it wiht your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 6 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the stars a slight Inner Bevel:

Copy and paste Elements 26 & 27.
Resize each candy corn 20%
Position them side by side but move the candy corn on the right side down just slightly.
Merge Visible both Candy Corn layers.
Apply Mura's Meister - Copies:
Choose Encircle.
Change the top 3 numbers to -
Number: 24
Shift X: 85
Shift Y: 85
OK
Move the ring of candy corn into position - see my tag for reference.

Copy and paste El 14 as a new layer.
Resize 40%
Move into position over the center small circle - see my tag for reference.
Highlight the paper below the spider web.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the web layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste El 30 as a new layer.
Resize 27%
Move into position over the top little circle.

Paste El 30 again.
Resize 25%
Move into posiiton over the middle little circle.

Paste El 30 once more.
Resize 23%
Move into position over the bottom little circle.

If you're using a tube, copy and paste it as a new layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
EL 8:  Resize 30%/Mirror
El 34:  Resize 60%
El 25:  Resize 65%/Duplicate/Flip
El 7:  Resize 30%
El 1:  Resize 30%
El 35:  Resize 30%
El 23:  Resize 25%
El 21:  Resize 30%
El 3:  Resize 60%
El 2:  Resize 50%
El 28:  Resize 25%
El 37:  Recolor #652f90
El: 38/Mirror

To feather edge of the tree:
Make your Freehand Selection Tool active.
Section off the area of the branch you want to keep.  Be sure to keep the marching ants far away from the area you DON'T want feathered.
Selections/Invert
Selections/Modify/Inside Outside Feather:
Both: checked
Feather amount: 25
OK
Tap the delete key until the tree has the desired feathered look.
Deselect.

Crop your Image.

Highlight the white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Duplicate/Flip
Move the duplicated/flipped mask down just a little.

Add your credits.

Add your name:
Color Pallet - 
Foreground: #000000
Background: #652f90
Stroke: 1

Type your name.
Give the same slight Inner Bevel 5x's.

Save your tag.

Telling Secrets


Supplies Needed

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 700
OK
Highlight the background layaer.
Flood fill white.

Highlight Raster 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and Paste Paper 6 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight Raster 2 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and Paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Raster 3 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and Paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Raster 4 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.

Highlight Raster 5 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.

Highlight Raster 6 layer.

Copy and paste E35 as a new layer.
Resize 20%
Apply Mura's Mesiter - Copies:
Choose: Encircle
Change the top 3 numbers to -
Number: 50
Shift X: 65
Shift Y: 65
OK

Move the ring into position over the circle paper.
See my tag for reference.

Copy and paste E3 as a new layer.
Resize 40% and 70%
Apply Mura's Mesiter - 
Use same settings accept change Number to 23.
Move this flower ring behind the rectangle papers.
Duplicate the flower ring 2x's and move each one into position at the sides of the rectangle papers.  See my tag for reference.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Move into position - see my tag for reference.

Add your elements.  I used:
E3:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Duplicate/Duplicate/Resize 70%
E5: Resize 30% (place behind the large flowe)/Duplicate/Mirror/Flip/Duplicate/Resize 70% (place behind the smaller flowers)/Duplicate/Mirror/Flip
E5 again:  Resize 30%/Free rotate Right 70 degrees
E25:  Resize 50%
E6:  Resize 40%/Free rotate Right 70 degrees
E2:  Resize 35%/Free rotate Right 25 degrees
E10:  Resize 70%/Duplicate/Flip

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with #1c191d
Apply the mask.
Resize 105%
Merge Group.

Add your copyright.

Add your Name:
Color Pallet - 
Foreground: Gradient/Metal Steel
Style: Linear
Angle: 38
Repeats: 0
Background: #1c191d
Stroke: 1.0
Type your name.
Effects/Edge Effects/Enhance

Bloody Fashionable Forum Set



Supplies

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let's get started ~♥~

Open up a blank 590 x 250 canvas.

Color Pallet:
Foreground:  #be160f   
Background:  #141210

Open up the foreground color and choose Gradient:
Choose Sunburst
Link Center and Local Pointed checked
Repeat: 2
Horizontal and Vertical: 100
OK

Open up a 590 x 250 blank canvas.
Flood fill with your gradient.

Apply Graphics Plus - Cross Shadow:
Use Default settings.
OK

Effects/Illumination Effects/Lights:

Copy and paste Grid as a new layer.
Resize 40%
Move into position at the left side of your canvas.
Duplicate/Mirror

Copy and paste Beads as a new layer.
Move into a position you like.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
If you're using the same as I did, resize 60%
Change the Properties to Soft Light.
Position at the left side of your canvas.
Duplicate/Mirror
Merge Visible both tube layers.

Move all elements and merged tube layer into their exact positions.
Highlight the merged tube layer.
Use your Magic Wand and click outside of the tubes.  You may have to click on different areas to be sure the entire tubes have marching ants around them.  
Selections/Invert
Highlight the beads layer.
Tap the delete key.
Highlight each of the the grid layers and tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
I resized mine 40% and 90%
Center it on your canvas.

Image/Add Borders:

OK

Image/Add Borders:
Change the color to: #957e4f
Change the numbers to 5
OK
Effect/Edge Effect/Enhance

Image Add Borders:
Change the color back to #000000
Change the numbers to 2
OK

Image/Add Borders:
Change the color to: #957e4f
Change the numbers to 5
OK
Effect/Edge Effect/Enhance

Image Add Borders:
Change the color back to #000000
Change the numbers to 2
OK

Copy and paste Candle Stick as a new layer.
Resize 45%
Position at the left side of your canvas.
Duplicate/Mirror
Merge Visible both candle layers.
Duplicate 2x's for a total of 3 candle layers.
Rename them Candle 1, Candle 2, and Candle 3.

Highlight Candle 1 layer.
Use your Freehand Selection tool and outside the flame on each candle.
Apply Eyecandy 5: Nature - Fire:
Settings Tab:
Choose Small, Candle

Basic Tab:

Colors Tab:
Use default settings
OK

Do not Deselect.

Highlight Candle 2 layer.
Repeat the above step accept hit the random seed button once.

Do Not Deselect.

Highlight Candle 3 layer.
Repeat the above step.
Deselect.

Keep Candle 1 layer open.
Close out Candle 2 and Candle 3 layer.

Copy and paste Leaves 1 as a new layer.
Resize 50%
Duplicate

Add your credits.

Add your name:
Color Pallet: 
Foreground and Background: #000000
Stroke: .30

Type your name.
Turn it slightly.

Copy Merge.
We'll come back to this banner in a little bit.

~To make the Avatar~

Make a 125 x 125 blank canvas.
Copy the forum banner.
Paste as a new layer.
Resize 600% and move into a position you like.

New Raster layer.
Select All.
Flood fill with #000000
Selections/Modify/Contract by 2.
Tap the delete key.
Flood fill with #a99459
Selections/Modify/Contract by 1.
Tap the delete key.
Flood fill with #000000
Selections/Modify/Contract by 2.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Color Pallet: 
Foreground: #980603
Background: #000000
Stroke: .30

Type the first initial of your name.
Effects/Edge Effects/Enhance.

Save as a jpeg.

Highlight your banner.
Copy merge.

~Time to Animate~

Open up Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/As New Animation.

Back in PSP.
Close out Candle 1.
Open up Candle 2.
Copy Merge.

Carry into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Back in PSP.
Close out Candle 2.
Open up Candle 3.
Copy Merge.

Carry Into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Ctrl + A (to highlight all the frames)
Animation/Frame Properties:
Display time: 18
OK

View your animation.
If you're happy with it then save.
