Thinking of You


Supplies

1 tube of choice - I used the beautiful artwork of Steve Bair which can be purchased from Up Your Art.  You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Great Vibes here

"Let it Snow" is a tagger size scrap kit created by Gina's Gem Scraps and can be purchased from Scraps From the Heart.  You can visit her blog here.

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let's get started ~♥~

OPen up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Delete the top 2 layers and Raster 4 layer.
Image/Canvas Size: 700 x 700
OK
Highlight the background layer.
Flood fill white.

Highlight Raster 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight Raster 2 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Raster 3 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delte the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Raster 5 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 24 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Duplicate and resize a bit smaller.
Change the Properties of the larger tube to Luminance and lower the Opacity to about 34.
Selections/Invert
Highlight each tube layer and tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Copy and paste Snow Flower 1 as a new layer.
Resize 20%
Apply Mura's Meister - Copies:
Use Default settings accept change the top 3 numbers -
Number: 29
Shift X: 68
Shift Y: 68
OK
Move the ring of flowers into position - see my tag for reference.

Add your elements.  I used:
Glitter Stitches:  Resize 25%/Duplicate/Free rotate Right 90 degrees
Leaf Vine:  Resize 60%/Free rotate Right 45 degrees
Icicle Bauble:  Resize 50%
Picot Bow 3:  Resize 65%/Flip
Snow
Ornament 3:  Resize 55%
Ornament 4:  Resize 55%
Candle 3:  Resize 70%
Star Cluster 2:  Resize 40%/Free rotate Right 35 degrees
Frosty Pine Branch 2:  Resize 50%/Free rotate Right 90 degrees/Duplicate/Free rotate 

Right 10 degrees/Duplicate and mirror both branches
Bauble 3:  Resize 50%
Bauble 1:  Resize 50%/Mirror

Highlight the white background layer.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 12 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the Mask.
Merge Group.
Duplicate
Change the Properties to Multiply.
Duplicate

Add your credits.

Add your name:
Foreground:  #2f7197   
Background:  #d5749c
Stroke: 1

Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Save your tag.

A Pirate's LIfe

Supplies

"Yo Ho Ho" is a tagger size scrap kit by Vickie's Scraps and can be purchased from Sensibility Scrapping or her blog here.

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let's get started ~♥~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Delete the credit layer.
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 700
OK
Highlight the background layer and flood fill white.

Highlight Raster 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 31 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Copy and paste El 63 as a new layer.
Resize 10%
Apply Mura's Meister - Copies:
Choose Encircle.
Use Default settings accept change the top 3 numbers to:
Numbers: 35
Shift X: 73
Shift y: 73
OK

Position the sanddollar ring over the circle paper.

Highlight Raster 2 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper P30 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper layer a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight Raster 3 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper P23 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Raster 4 layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper P2 as a new layer.
Resize 75%
Move the paper over the template layer so that you can only see the sky area of the 

paper.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Raster 5 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper P23 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Raster 7 layer.
Repeat the above step.

Move Raster 6 layer below Raster 8 layer in your layers pallet.
Merge Visible both of these template frame layers.
Click on each template frame with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 12 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Merge Visible both small blue square paper layers.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Move into position on the right side of the frames.
Duplicate
Mirror
Move this tube layer below the frame layer and position over the merged blue squares.
Change the Opacity of the tube to Overlay.
Highlight the merged blue square paper layers.
Click anywhere outside of them with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Add your elements.  I used:
El 64:  Resize 5%/Duplicate 5 times.
El 19:  Resize 60%
El 48:  Resize 85$
El 48 again:  Resize 50%
El 36:  Resize 94%/Use your Pick Tool to flatten the ribbon to make it 

skinny/Duplicate/Flip
El 90:  Resize 25%/Duplicate/Free rotate Left 30 degrees
El 66
El 89:  Resize 30%/Use your Pick Tool to flatten

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyright.

Add your name:
Color Pallet:
Foreground:  #00110d
Background:  #802824
Stroke: 1.5
Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Copy and paste El 89
Resize 85%
Use your Pick Tool to flatten.
Place behind your name.
Duplicate the sand layer.
Mirror
Move in front of your name.
Erase area to make your name look like it's sitting in the sand.

Save your tag.

The Witches Season - forum set



Supplies

1 tube of choice - I used the awesome artwork of Brynn Elizabeth Hughes which can be purchased from PSP Tube Stop.  You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used God Given Name 

Plug Ins used:
Tramages - Tow the Line

"Halloween Night" is a tagger size scrap kit (also available in Full Size) created by Susan of TootyPup Scraps and can be purchased from any of her stores here.

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let's get started ~♥~

Open up a blank 590 x 250 canvas.

Copy and paste Paper 03a as a new layer.
Position the bottom right corner on your canvas.

Highlight the blank layer below the paper.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Highlight the paper layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Duplicate the paper layer.
Resize 90%
Give it a drop shadow on its own layer.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Move into position at the left side of the paper.
Highlight the paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube layer.
Erase what you don't want to overhang the paper.
Deselect.

Paste your tube again as a new layer just over the paper layer.  Keep the size of it larger than your other tube layer.
Change the Properties to Soft Light and move into position - see my tag for reference.

Copy and paste Halloween Mail 02 as a new layer.
Resize 25%
Position over the top paper at the right side - see my tag for reference.
Highlight the top paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the element layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Type your name:
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #2c100e
Background: #f8cd8a
Stroke: 1.5
Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Shift + D (to duplicate your entire tag)

Make your original work active.

Image/Add Borders:
Change the color to: #450100
Symmetric checked
Change the numbers to 2
OK

Image Add Borders:
Change the color back to #ffffff
Change the numbers to 5
OK
Click on the white area with your Magic Wand.
Make your duplicated tag active.
Copy
Make your working canvas active.
Paste Into Selection.
Apply Tramages - Tow the Line:
Control 0: 27
Control 1: 54
Control 2: 48
Control 3: 9
OK

Image/Add Borders:
Change the color to: #450100
Change the numbers to 2
OK

Add your credits.

Save your banner.

~To make the Avatar~

Make a 125 x 125 blank canvas.
Copy the forum banner.
Paste as a new layer.
Resize 75% and move into a position you like.

New Raster layer.
Select All.
Flood fill with #450100
Selection All
Selections/Modify/Contract by 2.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Type the first initial of your name.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Add your credit.

Save as a jpeg.

~♥~ Lets get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

New Raster Layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply Xenofex 2 - Burnt Edges:

OK
Resize 80%

Copy and paste Castle 3 as a new layer.
Mirror
Change the Properties to Overlay and move into position - see my tag for reference.
Highlight the paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the hounted house element.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Move it into position.

Add your elements.  I used:
Witch Ghost 01:  Resize 60%/Lower the Opacity to 22
Swirl Lanterns 03a:  Resize 60%
Halo Corner 01:  Resize 60%/Mirror
Fire:  Resize 45%

Duplicate the fire layer 2x's for a total of 3 fire layers.
Rename them Fire 1, Fire 2, and Fire 3.
Highlight Fire 1 layer.
Make your Freehand Selection Tool active set on Freehand and mode: Add (Shift)
Randomly trace around different areas of the fire.
Apply DSB Flux - Bright Noise:
Intensity: 38
Mix checked 
OK
DO NOT DESELECT.

Close out Fire 1.
Open up Fire 2.
Apply DSB Flux - Bright Noise:
Use same settings accept hit the Mix button twice.
OK
DO NOT DESELECT.

Close out Fire 2.
Open up Fire 3.
Apply DSB Flux - Bright Noise:
Use same settings accept hit the Mix button three times.
OK
Deselect.

Close out Fire 3 layer.
Open up Fire 1 layer.

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 03a Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your credit.

Add your name:
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #792002
Background: #000000
Stroke: 1.5

Type your name.
Convert to Raster layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Copy and paste StarLight 01 as a new layer.
Resize 35%
Move into position over your name so that the rays from the light are over the first couple of letters.
Selection/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Merge Visible the name and light layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Copy Merge.

~Time to Animate~

Open up Animation Shop.
Edit/Paste/As New Animation.

Back in PSP.
Close out Fire 1 layer.
Open up Fire 2 layer.
Copy Merge.

Carry into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

Back in PSP.
Close out Fire 2 layer.
Open up Fire 3 layer.
Copy Merge.

Carry into AS.
Edit/Paste/After Current Frame.

View your animaiton.  If you're happy with it - 
Animation/Resize Animation -
Pixel Size checked
Width: 500
OK

Save your tag.

Dancing with My Bestie


Supplies

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Frame 2 as a new layer.
Resize 35%
Duplicate

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Move both frames and your tube into their exact positions - see my tag for reference.

To each frame:
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer below the frame.
Change the Properties to Soft Light.
Move into a position you like.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Add your elements.  I used:
Butterfly 5:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Resize 80%
Butterfly 6:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Resize 80%
Butterfly 2:  Resize 30%
Butterfly 1:  Resize 25%/Duplicate 2x's

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer just above the mask layer.
Move it into a position you like.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Change the Properties to Overlay.
Duplicate
Change the Properties to Soft light.

Add your credit.

Add your name:
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #326c92
Background: #e399c0
Stroke: 1.5

Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Save your tag.

Fright Night

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let's get started ~♥~

Open up a blank 590 x 250 canvas.
Flood fill with #808080

Apply Eyecandy 5: Texture - Swirl:
Settings Tab:
Solid, Small Loops

Basic Tab:

OK

Apply Brush Strokes - Sprayed Strokes:

OK

Color Pallet:
Foreground:  Null
Background:  #000000

Make your Rectangle Tool active.
Create a rectangle approximately 240 x 250 pixels.
Objects/Align/Center in Canvas.
Convert to Raster layer.
Click on the rectangle with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Contract by 5.
New Raster layer.
Flood fill with #000000
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Position it over the white rectangle.

Copy and paste Element 17 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Free rotate Left 90 degrees
Move into position behind the black rectangle on the left side near the top - see my tag for reference.
Duplicate
Mirror
Merge Down.
Duplicate
Flip

Copy and paste Element 11 as a new layer above your tube layer.
Resize 80% and move into position - see my tag for reference.
Duplicate
Mirror
Move below the black rectangle in your layers pallet.

Image/Add Borders:
Symmetric checked
Color: #000000
Top, Left, Right, Bottom: 4
OK

Image/Add Borders:
Change the color to #ffffff
Symmetric checked
Top, Left, Right, Bottom: 8
OK

Click on the white border with your Magic Wand.
Apply Eyecandy 5: Texture - Stone Wall:
Basic Tab:

OK

Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Deselect.

Image/Add Borders:
Symmetric checked
Color: #000000
Top, Left, Right, Bottom: 2
OK

Copy and paste Element 13 as a new layer.
Resize 40%
See my tag for placement.

Copy and paste Element 1 as a new layer.
Resize 35%
See my tag for placement.

Copy and paste Element 40 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Move into position in the lower right corner.
Duplicate - move to the upper left corner.

Add your name -

Color Pallet:
Foreground: #000000
Background: #af7432
Stroke: .80

Type your name.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.
Decorate with the spider from kit.

Save as a jpeg.

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Element 16 as a new layer.
Make your Freehand Selection Tool active set on Point to Point and trace along the white heart line.
Copy and paste Paper 3 as a new layer below the heart.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer just above the paper layer.
Change the Properties to Overlay.
Move into a position you like.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Close out your white background.
Merge Visible.
Reopen your white background.

Resize the Merged layer 80%
Free rotate Left 7 degrees.
Duplicate
Mirror

Move both merged layers into position - see my tag for reference.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Copy and paste Element 53 as a new layer.
Resize 25%
Apply Mura's Meister - Copies:
Choose Encircle
Change the top 3 numbers to - 
Number: 25
Shift X: 50
Shift Y: 50
OK

Duplicate the gem ring.
Move both into position - see my tag for reference.

Add your elements.  I used:
48:  Resize 60%/Duplicate
46:  Resize 60% and 80%
9:  Duplicate
24:  Resize 35%
4:  Resize 15% and 90%
3:  Resize 10%/Duplicate/Resize 70%
23:  Resize 20%/Duplicate/Mirror
Frame 3:  REsize 40%/Duplicate
51:  Resize 60%
21:  Resize 25%/Free rotate Left 25 degrees/Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 70%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 11 Into Selection.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Duplicate
Change the Properties to Multiply.
Duplicate

Add your copyrights.

Add your Name:
Color Pallet - 
Foreground & Background: #000000
Stroke: 1

Type your name.
Convert to Raster layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Selections/Modify/Expand by 2.
New Raster layer below your name.
Flood fill with #ffffff
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Uniform and Monochrome checked
Noise: 45%
OK
Deselect.
Merge Visible both name layers.

Save your tag.
