Magical Winter Stroll


Supplies Needed

1 tube of choice – I used the artwork of Renee Lavoie which can be purchased here

Font of choice – I used Chiagmai Hostel here

Weescotlass mask 236 here

“Magical Winter Stroll” is a PTU tagger size scrap kit created by Moonshine Dezignz and can be purchased from Digital Art Heaven.  Thank you so much for such a beautiful winter kit, Sue!   
  
This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Delete the top 6 layers and Layer #3.
Highlight the white background layer and open it up.
The layers is not exactly white so go ahead and Flood fill it with #ffffff
Image/Canvas Size:
700 x 550 px
OK
Flood fill white.

Highlight 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
Copy and paste Paper 4 as a new layer above the template layer.
Right click on it in your layers pallet.
Choose “Promote Section to layer”.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Deselect.
Delete the Original paper layer and template layer.

Highlight Layer 5.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Copy and paste Element 38 as a new layer.
Resize 60% and 85%
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight 2 layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight 5 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.
Deselect.
Copy and paste Element 38 over the paper layer.
Resize 60% and move into position so you can see the tree on the right side just a little.

Copy and paste Frame 1 as a new layer.
Resize 20% and 80%.
Duplicate
Move both frames into position – see my tag for reference.

To each frame:
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
Copy and paste Paper 2 as a new layer below the frame.
Resize the paper 40%
Move into a position you like.
Right click on the paper and choose Promote Section to Layer.
Delete the original paper layer.
Copy and paste Element 11 as a new layer just below the frame.
Resize 30%
Move into position near the top of the frame – see my tag for reference.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
If you’re using the same tube as I did, resize 45%
Move into position in front of the frames – see my tag for reference.

Add your elements.  I used:
El 31:  Resize 35%/Duplicate/Use Pick Tool to turn one of them slightly/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Use Pick Tool to turn slightly
El 33:  Resize 60%
El23:  Resize 30%/Duplicate/Mirror/Duplicate
El12:  Resize 10%
El30:  Resize 15%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Duplicate
El 30 again:  Resize 10%/Duplicate/Resize 90%/Duplicate
El 39:  Resize 40%
El 60:  Resize 20%
El 18:  Resize 25%/Duplicate/Mirror
El 21:  Resize 13%/Use Pick Tool to turn slightly
El 41:  Resize 10%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Resize 110%
Merge Group

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #081316
Background: #273133

Make your Text Tool active.
Set the stroke to 1.0
Type your name.
Convert to Raster layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:


Close out your white background.
Resize as you like.
Save your tag as a PNG.

Memories of You



Supplies Needed

1 tube of choice – I used the beautiful artwork of Zindy S.D. Nielsen here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Delete the following layers:
By Missy, words, pixel words
Highlight and open up the background layer.
Image/Canvas size:
800 x 700 ok
Flood fill white.
I’m sorry the canvas is so large!  I was halfway done making the tag and ran out of room on the canvas – yikes!

Highlght Glittered Oval Half 2 layer.
Merge Down.
Both half ovals should now be on the same layer.
Use your Magic Wand and click anywhere outside of the merged template.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste zPaper Mist 3 Into Selection.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Uniform and Monochrome checked
Noise: 38%
OK
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Oval layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste zPaper 4 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Color Pallet:
Foreground: #000000
Background: #c0d79f

Highlight Rectangle 1 layer.
Make your Color Replacer Tool active and double right click on the template layer.
Zoom in on the template and you’ll see not all of the template has changed color.  In your color pallet, change the foreground to each of those colors and change the color to the green that we’re using.
Once your entire template layer is changed, use your Magic Wand and click on the template.  New Raster layer.
Copy and paste zPaper 3 Into Selection.

Highlight Rectangle 2.
Duplicate the above step.

Highlight Circle 1 layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Selections/Modify/Contract by 16.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste zPaper Mist 1 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer over the paper. 
Move it into a position you like.
Right click on it in your layers pallet.
Choose “Promote Section to Layer”.
Deselect.
Delete the original tube layer.
Change the Properties of the tube to Overlay.
Duplicate both the paper and tube layer, mirror both of them and bring them above Circle 2 template layer in your layers pallet.

Highlight Circle 4 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste zPaper Mist 2 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer into position over the paper.

Color Pallet:
Foreground: #646eac
Background: #ffcce2

Highlight Thin Rectangle layer.
Like the other rectangle layers, you’re going to change this one to a pink color.  Zoom in and change whatever small areas didn’t get changed but leave the white outline alone.
Once you’ve changed the template color, use your Magic Wand and click on it.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper zPaper 2 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Open up Violin with Glitter element.
Use your Freehand Selection tool and section out the top right area of the element – the flowers and glitter.
Copy.
Paste as a new layer on your working canvas.
Resize 40%
Move into position at the top right of the large oval – see my tag for reference.
Duplicate
Flip/Mirror

Add your elements.  I used:
Flower Pink:  Resize 25%Duplicate/Mirror/Flip
Babies breath:  Resize 40%/Erase what overhangs oval/Duplicate/Mirror/Flip
Frame 5:  Resize 21%/Duplicate 2x’s
Tulip 2:  Resize 10%/Duplicate/Mirror
Leafy Vine 2:  Resize 10%/Erase tip/Free rotate Right 40%/Duplicate/Mirror
Flower Open 2:  Resize 7%/Duplicate/Flip
Flower Open 1:  Resize 7% and 80%/Duplicate/Mirror/Duplicate both flowers/Flip
Leaf 2:  Resize 5%/Duplicate/Mirror
Candle 1:  Resize 25%

Highlight the white background layer.
Select All
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste zPaper 4 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Duplicate and change the Opacity of Multiply.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and Paste zPaper 5 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group and change the Properties to Multiply.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name:
Color pallet:
Foreground and Background: #3f3f3f
Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:
Use same settings.

Fall is Here



Supplies Needed

1 tube of choice – I used the artwork of Verymany which can be purchased here

Brush Strokes: Crosshatch

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Delete the copyright Info layer.
Highlight the white background layer.
Image/Canvas Size:
800 x 450 px
OK
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Frame 5 as a new layer.
Resize 65%
Make your Selection Tool active set on Rectangle.
Section off the left side of the frame:


Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Duplicate the half of the frame that’s left.
Image/Mirror
Move both of these frame layers below Square 1 template layer.
Match them up so they make a nice frame to the template layer.
Merge Visible both frame layers.
Duplicate – move into position behind Square 2 template layer.

Highlight Square 1 template layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.
Apply Brush Strokes – Crosshatch:
Stroke Length: 16
Sharpness: 2
Length: 1
OK
Copy

Paste as New Image
Mirror
Copy

Make your working canvas active again.
New Raster layer.
Paste Into Selection.
Change the Properties to Multiply.
Merge Down.
Copy
Deselect.

Make Square 2 template layer active.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Paste Into Selection.
Deselect.

Delete Square 1 and Square 2 template layers.

Highlight Circle 1 layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your Tube as a new layer above the paper layer.
If you’re using the same tube as I did, resize 35%.
Move into a position you like.
Right click on it in your layers pallet.
Choose “Promote Section to Layer” from the sub menu.
Delete the original tube layer.
Deselect.
Change the Properties of the tube to Soft Light.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Circle 2 layer.
Repeat the above step accept omit the tube.

Highlight Small Rectangle 3 template layer.
Merge Down.
Merge Down again.
All the small rectangles should now be on the same layer.
Click on all the rectangles with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the same Brush Stroke – Crosshatch effect:
Use same settings accept change the Stroke Length to 8.
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Copy and paste Flower 1 as a new layer.
Resize 8%
Apply Mura’s Meister – Copies:
Choose Encircle.
Change the top 3 numbers as follows:
Number: 35
Shift X: 50
Shift Y: 80
OK
Resize the circle of flowers 70%
Duplicate
Move both flower circles into position over the circle papers – see my tag for reference.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
If you’re using the same tube as I did, resize 25%
Move into position in front of the right circle.

Add your elements.  I used:
Mesh:  Free rotate Left 90 degrees
Leaf Cluster:  Resize 60%/Duplicate
Sprinkle:  Resize 70%
Charm:  Resize 40%
Flower 5:  Resize 15%/Duplicate/Resize 70%
Pearls
Button:  Resize 20%/Duplicate 3’s for a total of 4 buttons

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Free rotate Left 90 degrees.
Merge Group.
Resize 110%
Duplicate the mask layer.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #1d0b03
Background: #a2282d

Make your Text Tool active.
Set the stroke to 1.0
Type your name.
Convert to Raster layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:


Make your Freehand Selection Tool active set on Freehand.
Section off the bottom 1/3 of your name (make the line a little wavy).
Press Ctrl + H
The Feather Selection Box will open –
Feather amount: 30
OK
Apply DSB Flux – Bright Noise:
Intensity: 37
Darker checked
OK
Deselect.

Close out your white background.
Resize as you like.
Save your tag as a PNG.
