Spring Cleaning



Supplies

1 tube and 1 close up image of choice - I used the artwork of Tony Tzanoukakis at PSP Tubes Emporium. You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Oh Lara - a pay font

Eyecandy 3.1 - Glow

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

New Raster layer.
Make your Selection Tool active set on Ellipse.
Create a 650 x 350 pixel oval.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 - Glow:
Width: 5
Opacity: 100
Opacity Drop off: Fat
Color: white

Make your Selection Tool active set on Circle.
Create a 500 pixel circle.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your Close up as a new layer over the paper layer.
Move into position.
Selection/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Change the Properties to Overlay.
Highlight the Circle paper layer and apply Eyecandy 3.1 - same glow effect.

Copy and paste Frame as a new layer.
Resize 40%
Free rotate Left 15 degrees.
Move into position near the bottom of the circle - see my tag for reference.
Duplicate/Move this one into position behind the upper right side of the circle.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 10 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Highlight the frame that’s in front of the circle.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 10 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube below the frame.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Bow 2: Resize 25%/Duplicate/Mirror
Cupwflowers: Resize 25% and 80%/Mirror
Flower: Resize 35%/Duplciate/Mirror
Wreath: Resize 70%
Grass: Resize 25%
Grass again: Resize 40%
Butterflies: Choose one you like/resize/duplicate as you like

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name:
Apply the same Glow effect.

Resize all layers 80%.

Ocean Dreams



Supplies

1 tube of choice - I used the artwork of Anna Marine at CDO. You must have a license to use.

Font of choice - I used Clive Barker here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste (19) as a new layer.
Resize 40%
You might want to close out your white background so you can see the element.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 16 Into Selection.
Copy and paste (79) as a new layer below the frame.
Resize 50%
Move into position.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Merge Visible the frame, starfish, and paper layers.
Give it a drop shadow.
Reopen your white canvas.
Duplicate the merged layer.
Free rotate Left 8 degrees.
Move both layers into better position.

Copy and paste (82) as a new layer.
Resize 25% and 70%
Free rotate Left 8 degrees.
Duplicate/Mirror
Move both frames into position - see my tag for reference.

Highlight the frame on the right.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Position in front of the right frame.

Highlight the frame on the left.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Copy and paste your tube below the frame.
Mirror it to the tube that you put in front of the right frame.
Highlight the paper layer and click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight the tube layer.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Add your embellishments. I used:
83: Resize 50%
84: Resize 40%/Mirror
89: Resize 40%/Mirror
101: Resize 33%
77: Resize 45%/Erase what you don’t want to be seen
86: Resize 35%
97: Resize 25% and 70%

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name:
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 - Glow:
Width: 3
Opacity: 100
Opacity Drop off: Fat
Color: white

Resize all layers 80%.

Honey Bee

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Resize all layers 80%
Image/Canvas Size 700 x 500
Open up the background layer and flood fill white.
Delete the top 4 layers, both Pixel Wording layers, Heart, and Glittered Heart layers.

Copy and paste Honey Bee Frame 7 as a new layer.
Resize 25%
Duplicate/Free rotate Right 8 degrees
Duplicate/Mirror
Move all 3 frames into position over Frame template layer.
Delete Frame template layer and Frame Background template layer.

Highlight one of the frames.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Repeat the above step with the remaining 2 frames.

Highlight Glittered Circle Right layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Gaussian and Monochrome checked’
Nosie: 50%
OK
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Glittered Circle Left layer.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight Circle Right layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 16 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Circle Left layer.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight Circle Top Left layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 8 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Apply Eyecandy 3.1 - Glow:
Width: 5
Opacity: 100
Opacity Drop off: Fat
Color: #311d08

Highlight Circle Bottom Right template layer.
Repeat the above step.

Highlight Circle Center layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Apply the same glow effect.

Add your embellishments. I used:
From the cookies folder - Butterscotch 2: Resize 45%
Tree: Resize 60%
Flower 7: Resize 60%
Flower 9: Resize 30%/Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 70%
Bee House: Resize 50%
Wheat; Resize 50%/Duplicate/Mirror
Cute Bee 1 & 2: Resize 25% and 50%
Butterfly: Resize 25% and 60%

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 13 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Use your Pick Tool to pull the sides and bottom out slightly.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name:
Apply the same glow effect accept change the Width to 3 and color to #f9d200.

Resize all layers 80%.
