DRDQ 2



Supplies

2 tubes of choice - I used the artwork of Keith Garvey which can now be purchased from PSP Tubes Emporium

Font of choice - I used Boomerang here

Weescotlass mask 267 here

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Open up Paper 3.
Shift + D
Close out the Original.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian blur:
Radius: 20
OK
Copy
Close this out as you won’t be needing it any more.

New Raster layer.
Make your Selection Tool active set on Rectangle.
Create a rectangle 400 x 275
Paste
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Uniform and Monochrome checked.
Noise: 43%
OK.
Deselect.
DO NOT DROP SHADOW THIS LAYER YET.

Copy and paste Frame 3 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Move the frame and rectangle layers into position - see my tag for reference.

Highlight the frame layer.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer below the frame.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Change the Properties to Overlay.

Highlight the rectangle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Selections/Modify/Contract by 7.
Copy and paste Paper 7 as a new layer.
Resize 45%
Move into position.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Copy and paste Penant as a new layer.
Resize 65%
Move into position.
Tap the delete key.
Change the Properties to Luminance.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
Move into position.
Tap the delete key.
Change the Properties to Luminance Legacy.
Lower the Opacity to about 42 or so.
Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Film Strip
Ticket: Resize 60%/Free rotate Left 70 degrees/Duplicate/Free rotate Left 35 degrees
Star: Resize 25% and 70%/Duplicate/Mirror/Resize 70%
Megaphone: Resize 85%
Lights: Resize 45%
Spotlight
Film: Resize 30%/Duplciate/Resize 70%
Books: Resize 25%
Director’s Chair: Resize 50%

Highlight your white canvas.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name:
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #000000
Background: Pattern/Paper 4.
Stroke: 1.5
Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:


Resize all layers 80%.
