Winter Green 6


Supplies Needed

Font of choice – I used Laughing and Smiling here

Vix mask 452 here

Plug Ins used:
Greg’s Factory Output Vol II – Pool Shadow.

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Copy and paste el 5.
Resize 70%
Duplicate and resize 90%
Duplicate

Move all 3 frames into position making the biggest frame the center one – see my tag for reference.
To each frame:
Click inside the frame with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Deselect.

Open up Paper 13.
Make your Rectangle Tool active.
Make your settings to match mine:

In your layers pallet close out the foreground.
Set the background to Pattern/Paper 13:
Angle: 0
Percentage: 100
Create a rectangle approximately 180 x 580 pixels.
Convert to Raster Layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Affects/Edge Effects/Enhance
Affects/Edge Effects/Enhance More.
Move into position just above the white background – see my tag for reference.

Close out Paper 13.
Open up Paper 12.
Make a rectangle approximately 50 x 625 pixels.
Repeat the above step with the bevel and enhancements.

Add your elements.  I used (see my tag for placement):
53:  Free rotate Left 90 degrees/Duplicate
35:  Duplicate for a total of 4 snow elements
20:  Resize 70%/Duplicate/Mirror/Flip
21:  Resize 50%/Duplicate/Mirror/Flip
21 again:  Resize 50%/Free rotate Left 45 degrees/Duplicate/Mirror/Flip
285:  Resize 70%/Free rotate Left 15 degrees
19:  Resize 70%/Duplicate/Free rotate Left 45 degrees(this one goes behind the left bottom of the center frame)
46:  Use your Eraser Tool to soften each of the ends
30:  Resize 50%

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 7 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground:  Pattern/Paper 17
Background: Pattern/Paper 12
Set the stroke to 1.0
Type your name.
 Convert to Raster Layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:
Use same settings
Select All/Float/Defloat
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II – Pool Shadow:
Use Default Settings
