Seashells & Sunshine


Supplies Needed

1 tube of choice – I used the beautiful artwork of Gabriella Szabo which can be purchased from DigitalArt Heaven.

Font of choice – I used FISHfingers here

Vix mask 452 here

“Get Away To Summer” is a tagger size scrap kit created by Susan of TootyPup Scraps and can be purchased from any of her stores here.  Thank you for such a wonderful kit! 
  
This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP. 

~~ Let’s get started ~~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.
Flood fill white.

Open up Frame_01
Make your Selection Tool active set on Rectangle.
Section out the inside frame:

Copy
Do not Deselect.

Make your working canvas active.
Paste as a New Layer.
Resize 40%
Move toward the bottom of your canvas.
Duplicate/Flip
Match the bottom of the top frame to the top of the bottom frame to create a rectangular frame.
Make your Selection Tool active and section out the area that overlaps:

Highlight each frame layer and tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Merge Visible both frame layers.

Make your Clone Tool active.
Right Click on the frame directly above the area where the frames are overlapped.


Place the tool over the overlapped area and left click and hold down on the mouse and move the tool slightly down.
The overlapped area should now be gone.  If not, keep trying, you’ll get the hang of it!

Make the frame element active again.
Copy.
Paste as a new layer on your working canvas.
Resize 30%
Move both frames into position – see my tag for reference.

Highlight the rectangular frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 5
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 01 Into Selection.
Deselect for now.

Copy and paste the following elements below the frame.  Don’t worry about what overhangs the frame edges.  We’ll clean that up in a bit:
Fish 01b:  Resize 15%
Fish 01:  Resize 15%
Fish 01a:  Resize 10%/Duplicate 2x/Mirror one of them
BeachSand 01:  Duplicate/Mirror

Highlight the paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight each sand element layer and tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Highlight the little frame.
Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Modify/Expand by 3
New Raster layer below the frame.
Copy and paste Paper 01 Into Selection.
Do not Deselect.
Lock the paper layer by clicking on the lock icon at the top of your layers pallet.
Adjust/Blur/Radial blur:
Match your Settings to mine:

Click the lock icon to unlock the layer.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer below the little frame.
Move into a position you like.
Selections/Invert
Tap the delete key.
Change the Opacity of the tube to Luminance “Legacy”
Deselect.

Copy and paste Heartframe 01a as a new layer.
Resize 10% and 85%
Duplicate 3 times for a total of 4.
Move them into position – see my tag for reference.

Color Pallet:
Foreground: #9a4543
Background: close it out

Make your Ellipse Tool active.
Set the line style to Dashed
Width: 2.00
Draw a circle approximately 350 pixels.
Convert to Raster layer.
Duplicate
Move both into position – see my tag for reference.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Add your elements.  I used:
Window 01:  Resize 60%/Duplicate
Window 01 (again):  Resize 40%/Duplicate
Lantons 01:  Resize 40%
Wildgrass 01:  Duplicate 2x’s for a total of 3
Shells 02c:  Resize 40%
Sun 01:  Resize 40%
Beachsand 01:  Resize 60% and use your Pick Tool to flatten a little


Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:
Radius: 5
OK
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.

Add your name.
Color Pallet:
Foreground: #342508
Background: #546513

Make your Text Tool active.
Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

 Duplicate the beachsand element on your tag and resize 60%.
Move into position in front of your name.

Close out your white background.
Save your tag as a PNG.
