Halloween Magic


Supplies Needed  

1 tube of choice – I used the artwork of Katerina Koukiotis which can be purchased from PSP Tube Stop.  It can be purchased with the tube at a savings here!  You must have a license to use.    

Font of choice – I used Waterfalls 

Vix Mask 451 here

"Halloween Magic" is a tagger size scrap kit created by me, Bev of HorsePlay's Pasture Designs.  It can be purchased from any of my stores here on my designing blog.  

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template.
Shift + D.
Close out the original.
Delete the credit layer.

Open up the image I supplied.
Copy
Close the image out.
Delete the top 12 layers.
Resize all layers 90%
Image/Canvas size:
700 x 600
Highlight and open up the background layer.
Flood fill white.

Highlight Bottom Dark Green Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 13 Into Selection.
Mirror
Flip
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight Bottom Green Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Paste Paper 13 (it should still be in memory) Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give the paper the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Orange Rectangle.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.
Copy and paste El 74 as a new layer.
Resize 60% and move into position - see my tag for reference.
Selections/Invert
Use your Eraser Tool and erase the left side and bottom of the element.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight White Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Uniform and Monochrome checked
Noise: 37%
OK
Deselect.
Delete the tempalte layer.

Repeat the above step with White Circle layer.

Color Pallet:
Foreground: #000000
Background: #f56d3c

Highlight Dotted Rectangle layer.
Make your Color Replacer Tool active and double right click on the dotted rectangle.

Repeat the above step with Dotted Circle layer.

Highlght the house element.
Duplicate
Move above the Dotted Rectangle layer.
Use your Eraser Tool and erase the left and bottom area of the element.

Highlight Gold Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight White Rectangle layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Selections/Invert
Copy and paste Paper 4 Into Selection.
Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:
Use Same settings.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Green Rectangle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.

Highlight Yellow Circle layer.
Click on it with your Magic Wand.
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.
Deselect for now.
Add the following elements and move them into position within the circle paper - see my tag for reference.  Don't worry about what overhangs.  We'll clean that up in a bit.
El 16: Resize 70%/Duplicate
El 16: Resize 60%

Highlight the Circle paper layer.
Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.
Highlight each element and tap the delete key.
Deselect.

Copy and paste El 39.
Resize 85%
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
If you're using the same as I did, resize 60% and 80%

Add your elements.  I used:
El 79:  Resize 55/Duplicate
El 50:  Resize 40%
El 28:  Resize 80%
El 15:  Resize 40%
El 20:  Resize 60%/Mirror
El 14:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Use your Pick Tool and tilt just a little
El 13:  Resize 30%
El 12:  Resize 60%/Mirror
El 36:  Resize 40%/Duplicate/Resize 70%/Duplicate
El 26:  Erase the bottom part of it

Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All
Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Merge Group.
Center the mask a bit more behind the tag.
Make your Pick Tool active and pull down just a little on the mask.

Add your copyright.

Add your name:
Color Pallet: 
Foreground: #000000
Background: Pattern/Paper 10
Stroke: 1

Type your name.
Give it a slight Inner Bevel:


Resize all layers 80%.
