Dark Cravings

Supplies
Font of choice - I used Magic School here.
Weescotlass Mask 138 here
Jbs2Designs Template 83 here
Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow
“Dark Cravings” is a FTU tagger size scrap kit created by Julie of Bits n Bobs and can be found on her blog here.
Julie, you have definitely outdone yourself in the Goth department!

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template.
Image/Canvas Size
650 X 600
Delete the credit layer.
New Raster Layer.
Flood fill white.
Send to bottom.

Highlight Raster Frame layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster Layer.
Flood fill with a color of choice or Copy and paste a paper Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Give it a slight inner bevel:


Repeat the above step with left and right frame layers.
Highlight Rectangle layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Delete the template layer.
Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II - Pool Shadow -
Default settings.

Highlight Left Rectangle layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Flood fill with a gradient of choice.
Deselect.
Repeat the above step with Right Rectangle layer.
Highlight the Heart layer.
Select All/Float/Defloat
New Raster layer.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
DO NOT DESELECT
Delete the template layer.
Apply the Pool Shadow effect again - default settings.

Copy and paste Element 8 as a new layer.
Resize 60%
Position near the bottom of the heart.
Tap the delete key.
Deselect.
Lower the Opacity to around 44.

Add your embellishments. I used:
Element 22
Element 33: Resize 60%. Mirror.
Element 24: Resize 50%
Element 25: Resize 40%
Element 4: Resize 40% Mirror/Free rotate right 20 degrees
Element 3: Resize 30% Free rotate 90 degrees
Element 30: Resize 50%
Dark Cravings Poser: Resize 50%
Highlight your white background.
New Raster layer.
Select All.
Copy and paste a paper of choice Into Selection.
Deselect.
Apply the mask.
Use your Pick tool and pull the sides out slightly.
Merge Group.

Add your copyrights.
If you used the Poser and erased the credit, please replace the credit on your tag - if you didn’t use a tube from a different artist.

Add your name.
Select All/Float/Defloat
Selections/Modify/Contract by 2
Apply the Pool Shadow effect again - default settings.
Give it the same inner bevel.

Resize all layers 85%.
