This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up the template.

Shift + D.

Close out the original.

Image/Canvas Size:

700 x 600

New Raster layer.

Send to bottom.

Flood fill white.

Delete the top 2 layers.

Color Pallet:

Foreground: #000000

Background: #3b2538

Make your Color Replacer Tool active.

Highlight Dotted Circle layer (the layer just above your white canvasin your layers pallet).

Zoom in.

Double click the right button on your mouse.

The dotted line should have turned to the purple color.

Highlight Circle layer.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Copy and paste Paper 13 Into Selection.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Change the Properties to Soft Light.

Highlight Dotted Circle layer – it’s actually the black frame to thecircle.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Copy and paste Paper 12 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Repeat the above step with Frame layer.

Highlight Rectangle layer.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Change the Properties to Multiply.

Highlight Strip 1 layer.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Copy and paste Paper 15 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight Strip 2 layer.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Copy and paste Flowers 3 as a new layer.

Move into position – see my tag for reference.

It’s long enough to reach the bottom of the rectangle so duplicate theflower layer.

Move it down so that the bottom of the stem is even with the rectangle.

Using your Eraser Tool and erase what you can see overlaps the otherflower layer.

Add your elements. I used:

Beads 2: Resize 92%

Pansies: Resize 40%/Free rotateLeft 35 degrees

Fern: Resize70%/Duplicate/Mirror

Spilled Pearls: Resize60%/Duplicate

Feather 2: Resize 60%

Highlight your white canvas.

New Raster layer.

Select All.

Copy and paste Paper 15 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Apply the mask.

Merge Group.

Add your credits.

Add your name.

Foreground: #000000

Background: #9d8851

Stroke Width: 1

Type your name.

Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Resize all layers 80%

Open up the template.

Shift + D.

Close out the original.

Image/Canvas Size

700 x 500

New Raster layer

Send to bottom

Flood fill white

Delete the top layer and text layer.

Highlight Circle layer.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Selections/Invert

New Raster layer.

Copy and paste Paper 6 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Highlight Rectangle layer.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Copy and paste Paper 25 as a new layer.

Move into a position you like.

Tap the delete key.

Copy and paste “StarDance Orignal” layer as a new layer.

Move the image into a position you like.

Tap the delete key.

Change the Properties to Luminance (Legacy)

Lower the Opacity to about 34.

Delete the template layer.

The image needs to be feathered so the edges aren’t so sharp inappearance.

Use your Freehand Selection Tool and surround the image – letting theline touch the left and right edges of the image layer while keeping away fromthe top and bottom of the image.

Selections/Modify/Inside Outside Feather:

Both checked

Feather amount: 40

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key until you have the feathered effect you want.

Deselect.

Highlight Rectangle 2 layer.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Copy and paste Paper 24 as a new layer.

Move into a position you like.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Highlight Rectangle 3 layer.

Repeat the above step.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

If you’re using the same tube as I did, I resized it 80%.

Position it over the left Rectangle.

Duplicate/Position over the right rectangle.

Highlight the Left rectangle paper layer.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Use your Eraser Tool and erase the part of the tube you don’t want tosee.

Deselect.

Highlight the Right rectangle paper layer.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Highlight the tube layer above it.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Change the Propeties to Muliply.

Lower the Opacity to about 65.

Add your elements. I used:

From the tube I used Stars, Aura, and Aura 2 layers.

26: Reisze 60%/Duplicate/Mirror

48: Resize 25%

17: Resize 50%/Duplicate/Mirror

66: Resize 50%/Duplicate/Mirror

13: Resize 50%/Duplicate/Merge down/Duplicate/Mirror

36: Resize 25%

91: Resize 25% and50%/Duplicate/Duplicate and mirror both rose layers.

44: Resize 40%/Mirror/Freerotate L 35%/Flip

Element 2: Resize 90%

Element 1: Resize 25%

Highlight your white canvas.

New Raster layer.

Select All.

Copy and paste Paper 12 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Apply the mask

Resize 105%

Merge Group.

Add your name.

Type your name.

Convert to Raster layer.

Apply Eyecandy 3.1 - Glow:

Width: 3

Opacity: 100%

Opacity Drop Off: Fat

Color: white

Resize all layers 80%.

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.

Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Frame 3 as a new layer.

Resize 35T

Free rotate right.

Duplicate/Mirror

Move both frames into position – see my tag for reference.

Highlight the top right frame.

Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.

Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.

Copy and paste Paper 13 as a new layer.

Move into a position you like.

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer below the frame.

Tap the delete key.

Change the Properties to Hard Light.

Deselect.

Highlight the bottom left frame.

Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.

Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.

Copy and paste Paper 13 as a new layer.

Move into a position you like.

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Open up element Barbed Wire 1.

Use your Freehand Selection Tool and circle around the single strand ofbarbed wire.

Copy.

Paste on your working canvas.

Resize 40%

The end needs to have a feathered look.

Using your Freehand Selection Tool again, surround the wire but be surethe dotted line is touching the ends – keep the line away from the rest of thewire.

Selections/Modify/Inside Outside Feather

Both checked

Feather Amount: 40%

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key until you have a nice feathered look.

Deselect.

Free rotate Right 70 degrees.

Duplicate/Free rotate Left 20 degrees

Duplicate both barbed wire layers.

Move all 4 layers into position at the corners of the frames – see my tag for reference.

Copy and paste Fence 1 as a new layer.

Resize 50%

Move this into position just above your white canvas more on the rightside.

Duplicate/Mirror

Make your Selection Tool active set on Rectangle and section out thepart of the fence that overlaps.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Merge Visible both frame layers.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Position it in front of the bottom left frame.

Feather your tube in the same manner as you did the barbed wire.

Add your elements. I used:

Street Light 2: Resize 70%

Dark Rose 3: Resize70%/Duplicate/Mirror

Highlight your white canvas.

New Raster layer.

Select All.

Copy and paste Paper 14 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II – Pool Shadow:

Use Default Settings.

Apply the mask.

Merge Group.

Add your name.

Convert to Raster layer.

Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow:

Width: 3

Opacity: 100%

Opacity Drop off: Fat

Color: #ded5d7

Resize all layers 80%

Copy and paste your close up image as a new layer below the frame.

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Apply Xero – Porcelain to the tube.

Use Default settings accept lower the Blue Channel button to 0.

Copy and paste 32 as a new layer.

Resize 60%

Position on one side of the square frame.

Duplicate/Mirror

Highlight the tripe heart frame on the left side of your canvas.

Click inside of each heart with your Magic Wand.

Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.

New Raster layer below the frame.

Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer below the heart frame.

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Apply Xero – Porcelain to the tube layer.

Use same settings.

Highlight the heart frame on the right side of your canvas.

Click inside of each one with your Magic Wand.

Seletions/Modify/Expand by 4.

New Raster layer below the frames.

Copy and paste Paper 9 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Position in front of the frames on the right side.

To give the tube a feathered effect:

Make your Freehand Selection Tool active.

Make a circle around your tube making sure the line touches only the areaof the tube you want feathered – keeping far away from the areas you don’t wantfeathered.

Selections/Modify/Inside Outside Feather

Both Checked

Feather amount: 40

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key until you have the feathered look you want.

Deselect.

Add your elements. I used:

30: Resize 30%/Duplicate/Mirror

Crop your Image.

Flood fill white

Delete the top 2 layers.

Highlight Circle layer.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Apply Eyecandy 3.1 – Glow:

Width: 3

Opacity: 100%

Opacity Drop off: Fat

Color: White

Highlight Rectangle layer.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.

Deselect for now.

Delete the template layer.

Highlight Squares layer.

Repeat the above step.

Highlight the Frame layer.

Select All/Float/Defloat

New Raster layer.

Flood fill with #04791f.

Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add noise:

Uniform and Monochrome checked

Noise: 54%

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Frames layer.

Copy and paste Vines layer from the tube layers.

Resize 65%

Duplicate/Flip

Position both of these frames on the left side of the frame – see mytag for reference.

Merge Down – both vines should be on the same layer.

Duplicate/Mirror/Position at the right side of the rectangle paperlayer.

Highlight the rectangle paper layer.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Highlight the vines layer.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer over the vines layer.

Resize 65%

Move into position.

Duplicate/Mirror/Move this tube layer above the Squares paper layer.

Change the Property to Burn.

Highlight the Squares paper layer.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Highlight the tube layer above it.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Highlight the rectangle paper layer.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Highlight the tube layer above it.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Copy and paste Birds from the tube layers as a new layer.

Resize 45%

Add the elements supplied:

See my tag for placement

Highlight your white canvas.

New Raster layer.

Select All.

Copy and paste Paper 2 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Duplicate/Change the Properties to Multiply.

Merge down.

Apply the mask.

Resize 105%

Merge Group.

Duplicate/Change the Properties to Multiply

Add your name.

Foreground: #000000

Background: #f11f52

Stroke width: 1

Type your name.

Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Resize all layers 90%.

This tutorial was written assuming you have a working knowledge of PSP.

~♥~ Let’s get started ~♥~

Open up a 700 x 700 blank canvas.

Flood fill white.

Copy and paste Heart Frame 1 as a new layer.

Resize 70%

Free rotate Left 10 degrees.

Copy and paste Heart Frame 2 as a new layer.

Resize 65%

Free rotate Right 10 degrees.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Position your tube on the right side of your canvas.

Position both hearts into position on the right side of your canvas –see my tag for reference. It’s importantyou get the hearts in their exact positions.

Highlight the top heart.

Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.

Selections/Modify/Expand by 4.

New Raster layer below the hearts.

Copy and paste Paper 12 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Repeat the above step with the bottom heart.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer below the top frame.

Move it into a position that will look nice below both frames.

Change the Properties to Soft Light.

Duplicate – move this tube layer below the smaller frame in your layerspallet.

Highlight the paper of the smaller heart.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Highlight the tube layer above it.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Highlight the paper of the larger heart.

Repeat the above step.

Add your elements. I used:

Décor 2

Balloons

Gift: Resize 40%

Flower 1: Resize35%/Duplicate/Mirror

Bling

Highlight your white canvas.

New Raster layer.

Select All.

Copy and paste Paper 3 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:

Radius: 10

Apply the mask.

Merge Group.

Add your name.

Foreground: #202020

Background: #fe7b9f

Stroke width: 1

Type your name.

Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:

Random and Monochrome checked

Noise: 57%

Open up the template.

Shift + D.

Close out the original.

Delete the top 3 layers, Pixel Words, Glittered Grunge

Highlight Large Beige Circle layer.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Flood fill with #629643.

Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:

Random and Monochrome checked

Noise: 30

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Repeat the above step with Small Black Circle layer.

Highlight Black Circle layer.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Copy and paste the Image layer (Image LV0060 Magic Fireflies) IntoSelection.

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Highlight Beige Rectangle layer.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Copy and paste the paper that I supplied as a new layer.

Move into a position you like.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Highlight Brown Rectangle layer.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Paste the paper Into Selection.

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Give it the same slight Inner Bevel.

Highlight Stars layer.

Click anywhere outside of the stars with your Magic Wand.

Selections/Invert

New Raster layer.

Flood fill with #42a37f

Deselect.

Apply the same Noise effect.

Delete the template layer.

Highlight Black Strip layer.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Flood fill with the same color you just used.

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Apply Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II - Pools Shadow:

Use Default settings accept lower the Intensity bar to about 25.

Highlight the image layer in the tube layer.

Using your Selection Tool set on Rectangle, section out the top leftcorner of the image – just get the blue sky area.

Copy.

Highlight Small Beige Circle layer.

Click on it with your Magic Wand.

New Raster layer.

Paste (the sky area) Into Selection.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer – I used layer Tube (b) LV0060 Magic Fireflies.

Resize 85%

Move into a position you like.

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Delete the template layer.

Change the Properties of the tube to Soft Light.

Duplicate

Paste the tube again.

Resize 70%

Position in front of the green strip.

Add your elements. I used:

2: Resize 70%/Flip

3: Resize 70%

4: Resize 70%

5: Resize 70%

6: Resize 65%

7: Resize 65%/Duplicate/Resize70%

8: Resize 65%

9: Duplicate

Layer Tube (d) LV0060 MagicFireflies: Resize 25%/Mirror

Highlight your white canvas.

New Raster layer.

Select All.

Copy and paste the Image layer Into Selection.

Deselect.
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur:
Radius: 15
OK

Apply the mask.

Merge Group.

Add your name.

Foreground: Black

Background: #4a7294

Stroke Width: 1

Type your name.

Convert to Raster layer.

Select All/Float/Defloat

Copy and paste the Paper Into Selection.

Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Adjust/Add Remove Noise/Add Noise:

Uniform and Monochrome checked

Noise: 15

Deselect.

Give your name a drop shadow on its own layer.

Click the Layer Link Toggle (at the top of your layers pallet) until itsays “none”.

Use your Pick Tool to squash the shadow a bit and position it betterbehind your name.

Resize all layers 80%.

Food fill white.

Copy and paste Frame 1 as a new layer.

Resize 25%

Duplicate/Resize 60%

Move both frames into position – see my tag for reference.

Highlight the large frame.

Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.

Selections/Modify/Expand by 2.

New Raster layer below the frame.

Copy and paste Paper 1 Into Selection.

Deselect.

Highlight the smaller frame.

Click inside of it with your Magic Wand.

Selections/Modify/Expand by 2.

New Raster layer below the frame.

Copy and paste Paper 5 Into Selection.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer below the frame.

Move into position.

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Change the Properties to Soft Light.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

Position it in front of the large circle frame – see my tag for reference.

Duplicate/Move to the right and below the frame in your layers pallet.

Change the Properties to Soft Light.

Highlight the large Circle paper layer.

Click anywhere outside of it with your Magic Wand.

Highlight the tube just above the paper layer.

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Make your Selection Tool active set on Rectangle.

Create a rectangle approximately 350 x 475 pixels.

Copy and paste Paper 4 as a new layer.

Resize 20%

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key.

Deselect.

Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Add your elements. I used:

Bow 3: Resize 25% and 40%

Ribbon 4: Resize 25%/Duplicate

Flower 3: Resize 25% and45%/Duplicate/Resize 70%

Flower 4: Resize 25% and60%/Duplicate/Resize 70%

Doodle: Resize 25%

Ric Rac: Resize 25% and 35%

Leaves: Resize 25% and40%/Flip/Free Rotate Left 40 degrees

Duplicate/Flip

Brush Work: Resize 25%/Use PickTool to pull the top up slightly

Add your name.

Color Pallet:

Foregroud: #211d1d

Background: #ce6385

Stroke Width: 1.4

Type your name.

Convert to Raster layer.

Select All/Float/Defloat

Copy and paste Brush Work as a new layer.

Change the Properties to Overlay.

Move into a position you like.

Selections/Invert

Tap the delete key.

Selections/Invert

Selections/Modify/Contract by 1.

Give it a slight Inner Bevel:

Deselect.
